I read that redmi note 8 pro gets really slower after a while due to the Mediatek processor not being very good. Can anyone that has had the phone for a while verify this?

GorujoCY, 14 Apr 2020Yes battery always depend on usage but in my experience, it's outstanding especially if you wanna game and for social medias for a decent amount of time

More importantly idk what you mean by bulky but yes it's big and heavy at 200g, it doesn't bother me tho, you get comfortable to it from time to time

Please help guysFirst update your phone, early firmware didn't control heating that well, still as said below this phone heats some even if many people will not accept the fact, that is likely why the new redmi note 9 pro uses a more efficient snapdragon chipset and not this mediatek one.

and, i am normal user.
like 1 hr game with break , 1 hr video with break, net surf normal 1 hr in a day and 2-3 hrs calling (video also) with break and 3-4 hrs social media (whtsup, fb, etc..).
so, it can enough for 2 days battery life.
then i will definitely purchase it.
