Jack, 19 Mar 2020s8or rn8pro?
I just switched this phone from my Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) tho and im gonna say I'm more impressed by this phone than the A8 for a few reasons
1. Personally, Better camera than the A8, what i like the most about the RN8P's camera is the color that it takes, especially in 64MP Mode alltho both phones have a great camera.
2. Bigger Battery, You know im that kind of a user who just likes to use his phone, for games, for social media and barely letting the phone "sleep"/turning the screen off for a while.
3. Gaming with the chipset actually felt better, playing Asphalt 9 on the A8 wasn't so smooth for the chipset it has, after playing it on this phone, i was impressed of the smooth performance it has.
4. Now i would say I prefer SAmoled than IPS LCD but this screen is actually decent and colors didn't bother me, also it's very bright and has HDR Support.
Jack, 19 Mar 2020s8or rn8pro? Hi Jack, I changed from S9 to RN8P and I'm fully happy with that switch. RN8P has bright high quality lcd display which is bigger than in S8 and S9. Performance and working culture is much better in Redmi. In my opinion newest MIUI 11 based on Android 10 is much better than Samsung OS. I still have S9 but not using it at all because RN8P is much better phone. Of course it is my personal opinion.
Jack, 19 Mar 2020but I'm gonna buy a second hand s8 that costs nearly the rn8p .....I'm not also a huge fan of ... moreWell trust me this IPS LCD is a very good one. And well for almost the same price (because you buy it second hand) and smaller screen smaller battery (even smaller because it was already used) and well poorer performance / cameras... I would still kinda go for a brand new RN8P but it's all up to you.
MarcoPolo, 19 Mar 2020The S8 got a "better" screen because it's an SAMOLED one but it has a way smaller screen. So f... morebut I'm gonna buy a second hand s8 that costs nearly the rn8p .....I'm not also a huge fan of a IPS display....I am not a hardcore gamer...I ust do some social media and some youtubes.....I also need a compact feeling phone....the RN8P has a bigger display ....it quite hard for me to handle it.........in 2020, the performance of the S8 isn't bad at all...
Jack, 19 Mar 2020s8or rn8pro? The S8 got a "better" screen because it's an SAMOLED one but it has a way smaller screen. So for a bigger screen go for the RN8P. And just so you know, the RN8P got one of the best IPS LCD screen out there so you won't miss that much a SMOLED one. The S8 got a way worse battery life and despites I'm not that sure the performances are either almost the same with the RN8P or they are lower. Can't say for sure because all I can find is the AnTuTu v7 score but as far as I remember the RN8P still got a higher score even in AnTuTu v7. For camera quality... Well go for this one. For the main one. The other ones are only decent, they are not the best but you can still take some really cool shots with them. You can even take some gorgeous shots with the 64 MP one if you know how to use the pro mode. Oh and RN8P got a way higher battery life. And the RN8P is way cheaper. I hope that this helps. For more info reply to this message or add me on discord. I can even give you some sample shots etc. ImTheRealMarco#5081
Bloodseeker, 19 Mar 2020Have u already got ur update ? Where are u located man ?Yeah I have already got Android 10 for a week or so. I'm from Romania btw.

is a bad phone ... try sending sms programmed with clock..provide to extract from sms the missed call when sending the phone operator ... you are required to use two SIM cards without memory card or with memory and a sim card and you lose the photos and things you have on your memory card ..... too bad a phone .. i'm thinking back to samsung again!
MarcoPolo, 16 Mar 2020It already got Android 10. You just have to wait because it depends on where are you from.Have u already got ur update ? Where are u located man ?
Anonymous, 16 Mar 2020When stable android 10 will be released for global version? I checked stable beta is out. How ... moreSorry for that that is 18.104.22.168 That is showing in my phone. I just updated it like 3 days ago here in PH
Anonymous, 18 Mar 2020This or Samsung Galaxy A71?It's kinda the same. It's just that the A71 got better cameras (secondary ones) and a "better" screen because it is an SAMOLED one. Overall, if you have the budget for the A71 go for it because it's slightly better but I don't see the point of paying such a big difference only for a slight improvement. It's up to you.
