Anonymous, 11 Aug 2021I have just updated miui 12.5 n android version 11 any problem guys?Yes.. I have found some bugs after this update, such as notifications and icons in folders disappearing and some minor lags.. may be it would resolve by performing factory reset once.. But its definitely a big headache :(

this phone is horrible and not worth the already low price thats attached to it. i had to replace it after just 9 months of use, the lag became unbearable. i had to wait 2 minutes just to start a video. i do not play phone games, i literally only used it for light web browsing, social media, youtube/netflix and calls. i do not recommend it in the slightest! i got a poco x3 pro instead of it, i have been using it for a couple months now and i am very very satisfied with my purchase, i paid the same price for it as i paid for the redmi note 9

I've got 3gb version. It's truly worst smartphone I ever had! Everything is lagging. Most of the games aren't playable. Old 3 years old Huawei worked much better than this brick. Sometimes even i can't answer a call. It's very frustrating to use this even for most basic functions. I will never buy anything from this company again.

The developers should really think twice about making cheap phones like this. It literally lags every time you open the camera and you can't even turn it off and on, you need to wait like a minute before it turns back to normal. The camera problem happens 99% of the time.

The redmi 9 is great at battery life, whatever i do it never reach 15% in the end of the day, and i don't use the device so much i can even reach the next day with 40%
But the software are kind of slow, and when i installed so many apps the phone became very slow, but you may see the phone slow on software but it's not any slow at games, it runs pubg easily at 30 FPS, you can raise the frames to 50 but the device will get a little hot and battery will drain fast, so i perfer the 30 FPS, you play without to worry about anything!
Other games run good as well, but i can say gaming in this phone is not perfect, and not midrange, below the midrange, but for 150$, i think this is the only phone that can let you play games with decent battery!
And camer is not good at all, but with MIUI software, you may can love the photo processing! And dynamic range is decent,
But the software is slow, opening and closing apps is a disaster! I have my old lg g5 and it is way faster than redmi 9 so i use the lg g5 for social media!
And RAM is much worst that what i thaught
Imagine playing a game, you go back to open the music player and immediately i return to the game and it reloads!!! It's not even a second!!, Sometimes i feel like this phone doesn't have a RAM at all!!!,
I deleted so many apps that may use the ram, but there's no use! The phone says that there's 1.9 ram free of 4Gb and still don't reload most of the times
Comparing ram performance of this phone with a galaxy s2 ,
S2 wins easily!
But it's after all cheap phone, and gives you a good gaming performance and nice battery
But software and ram management and camera: sucks

I think it's a good device compare with price, it's cheap, and the functions are very good, the only bad it's sometimes freeze when I'm playing a while not much and the quality to the camera it's regular not very sharp, the battery it's amazing I charge my phone every two day

when i first picked up the phone, it was great, amazing in fact! but then after some updates it started lagging! call of duty has some lag spikes now, even brawl stars gets occasional lag spikes for crying out loud!!! xiaomi keeps ruining these great phones with their mediocre MIUI, they even remove useful features from time to time and change where a feature is, making it totally confusing to find where it was located again.i am really thinking about jailbreaking the phone to use another ui but i am afraid ill do more harm than good...

Really good phone for the price and even got an Android 11 which got smoother for the 3/64 GB variant so far no complains

The phone is quite decent now I have been using it for a year so far still good I may have some slight delays but thats my personal problem It's a decent phone and survived without a scratch when i dropped it a few times which I am glad and I am extra careful about it this time however i still toss it like nothing for some reason. Anyways great phone It cost some money but without the price and things its a good/decent phone it has decent or great quality to work with in camera and has aton of space (on which one you bought) I bought 128 gb and 6 gb ram and so far it can run any games smooth and works fine and responds fast. Great phone xiaomi.

Almost users of 1 years including me having bad experience on this phone, especially freeze issues, regardless 3GB or 4GB RAM.
Bets choice to get another phone, also dont get mediatek chipset for entry/low midrange.
