I've been using 4/128gb variant still very smooth after 3+ years of consistent use, the best phone I've ever used
From my experience I never update a phone unless it becomes necessary, so I'm still on android 11 miui12.1
I bought fairly used and battery still super after more than 3yrs of use
I have 128 SD installed
If you overfill the internal memory it will auto restart, simply delete some heavy files or move them to external memory to solve the issue
My best phone ever!!!

Rolled back from MIUI 13 to MIUI 11 and now it works fine, before it was not usable, and now on android 10 is fine, everything works as it should with the specs given

In my opinion it's the best Redmi note phone.
Although, official updates are over it's just fluent for daily tasks.
Good light gaming.
Full day battery.
High SOT.
Good network.
Just don't compare to gaming phones.
Camera is also average.

It gives auto restart and the battery doesn't work fine. It has only been one and a half years since I bought this phone. I face lots of difficulties because of this battery issue.
