MediaTek is not closing anytime soon.
MediaTek are catering for paying cheaper market.
It is not a trash. Just the price it is paid for.
Those number ain't meaningless.
Their chip did run the whole computing work.
Not everyone are into mobile gaming.
Some prefer PS5 on their 84" TV.
MediaTek is enough to do your daily task like receiving email, play video, conference call, more than enough.
If money not an issue, getting a gold plated phone can be a reason to buy a phone.
Price for the job & the trade off that decide.

Don't complain too much. It is a mid-range entry & it work like charm as a dependable mid range phone.
Using it as my secondary device to login diff game account. It serve the purpose. You want complain so much, get bionic chip device. Happy for the battery

Has anyone used this phone on T-Mobile network in the US? I can't get it to connect it to T-Mobile's 4G network. It does connect to the 2G network. If I search for the network manually, I see T-Mobile 4G on the list. I can force it to register on the 4G network, but in a few minutes it unregisters and then connects to the 2G network. The specs say that the phone supports the T-Mobile bands (2 & 4).

This phone really sucks,it can't run genshin impact,the helio g85 really turned me down,let alone the platform(miui)wich is full of ads that you have to eliminate one by one,maybe consider a custom rom,try going for a note 10 lite or a note 8 pro instead,don't buy a redmi note 9 plz

I should've bought the Realme 6 Pro over this. I regret it because the selfie cam is whack while the selfie cam in Realme Pro 6 is waaaay out of its league. I'm just glad I could play WildRift in this phone 😫
