But other issues noted:
1. Loss of sound in earpiece....easiest fix...disabling google assistant and voice.
2. Proximity sensor failure, ....sometimes fixed by doing hardware test on the phone to calibrate sensor.
3. Dust in camera lens but apparently not evident on Pro version or highest redmi note 9 variants.

Such an waste phone it sucks when in call and sensors are sincerely dumbs it automatically turns action, customer service is utter waste

in new set kindly give glass protection on display, camera protection and reliable cover with box we did not find it in market and phone display going to damage.

PUBG was laging on MIUI 11, but i... moreI totally agree with this, currently, using the MIUI12 the phone is perfectly fine, app developers should be optimizing the device. Heavy graphics are still too much as the display says it, 1080 is not a joke for some heavy games/use, the higher the resolution the more the pixels are used. I hope you consider waiting for more updates than muttering about its performance for 2 days only.
I have been using the device for 2 months and it's perfectly smooth in my daily task.

Please add "Wireless FM" to the list of features for this phone. I was able to tune in to various FM stations in my area without needing a headset (which is not present with the box).

A waste of money, buy another phone.
MIUI is completely bad designed. There ads by default in the phone. Can you believe this! A lot of default and system apps come with this malware adds preinstalled.
If you use adb you can see a lot of processes that only are tracking all your usage.
And the hardware is terrible. The proximity sensor failed after 10 days of usage and there is not way to fix it. No recalibration possible. I want to return my phone and I would never buy a Xiaomi phone again.
My previous phone was a Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite, that one was wood because it had Android One.
Redmi Note 9 is completely garbage.
If you look online you will find infinite post about the proximity sensor failure. Most of them couldn't fix this issue.
