I'd say look for a different brand. The MiUi is just not good. Tons of bloatware and ads in it and it just cheapens the experience. Even though you can turn the ads off, it really shouldn't be there in the first place. And it lags a lot even with light usage. If you're set on getting a Xiaomi phone look for android one models like the Mi A3. It's older but you'll get better experience with it's UI.
