I had the opportunity to use this phone because my mom was about to throw it. Imagine, my mom, not a techie person, hates this phone 😂 and so I kept it and tried some tweaks to improve its performance. But to no avail, meh, still a trash phone.
Plenty of bugs:
-the sound on the speaker will suddenly not work
-the pop-up notification from some apps does not work even the notification sound
-the sound will sometimes not work when using earphones or headsets, wired or wireless.
-playing videos and reels on FB will totally freeze the phone, you need to restart it by holding the power button.
-opening the camera will freeze it sometimes
-overlaying apps will sometimes destroy the phone resolution and app alignment on the screen
-multitasking is impossible, background apps will be killed when minimized
-vibration will sometimes not work on different instances that it should be triggered
-no split screen
-RAM depletes fast that browsing through a page or app will cause lag
-uploading files or pictures on webpages or apps is a hard task since when you minimize the 0age to select a file, it will kill the minimized app
-too many apps that are not compatible
-playing music while reading, gaming, browsing or any other task is impossible. The music will be choppy which is annoying
-the camera is always blurry and takes time to focus,whilst if you use Gcam, the camera is so laggy that it is impossible to capture fast, when you press the shutter of Gcam, it will load first then the picture will be taken after 5-10 seconds. Worst case, the screen will freeze

akioh, 20 May 2023how many times do you have to charge the phone per day?I normally need to charge the phone from 0 to 1 times per day.
3 years with the mobile and keeps working perfectly well. Very content with it.

I have 6gb 128gb variant
There is no problem until now.
The phone is smooth and no problem and I can play PuBg at hd at 50 FPS which is good.
Only thing annoying is it may take more than 5 minutes just to start phone.

The best phone i have ever used, after 3 years the phone works perfectly, out performs everyone phone within the range in my camp. I'm waiting for MIUI 14 update. I'm now in love with Redmi. When I thought I had a problem, I discovered that my social media apps were in beta version, it wasn't from my phone. I wish my next phone should serve me like this.
