This is my honest opinion about this phone.
For me this is the best phone for a midrange budget phone. I replaced my Exynos 8890 with Redmi note 9.
I use this to view email, gdocs, ms office, etc.
I use this to browse on firefox, chrome and other browser.
I use this to social media, viber, telegram, WhatsApp and others.
Text and call has no problem problem also.
Downside of this phone is the camera not as good as S7edge. But if u tweak it you can have a decent shoots.
The screen is ok, you can see the difference between AMOLED and IPS.
The battery is super satisfied.
I already updated the phone to MUI 12.
I've been using this phone for morethan a month.
I don't experience any lag on this phone.
I've purchased the 4gb/128.
I don't play games thats why no reviews.
BTW, this is my 1st time to use a midrange phone and not branded like samsung and other..
I am so satisfied. Thank you xiaomi!

MIUI is the main cause of that lagging ..........................it becomes the heaviest OS now among all companies ....................................... for 150$ this year the best choise is Nokia 5.3 which offers a wonderful smooth performance with its android one

The phone lagged too much. Im not a gamer I'm just using Instagram and Fb and don't have so much application but still this lagged too much. My old phone works better, I'm disappointed coz i wait for years to get new phone then this happened.
