I wouldn't recommend this phone. .-
2 years of usage and it bootloops and turns off randomly. .
Battery is already bad. .
I'd use it as a second alternative..
Gaming works fine in most cases but can overheat quite easily and throttle ..

This is a good phone, it was released 5 years ago, and still works like new budget phones, my parents bought me it second-handed for about 2 years ago, only problems are bad camera quality at low light, low storage, battery is not that good as it was, but you can fix that with setedit. And the volume button got broken (it works, but if you use phone without case, the button will fall).

Missed call sound-notification: works fine, sounds every few minutes.

Got this phone after the pandemic and it randomly stopped working a few days ago, I had a professional take a look at it but it's completely dead. It also would turn it off by itself sometimes but i'm aware that it's something lots of people also struggle with their own note 9 pro.

I got this phone when it came out in 2020 I use it heavily I'm very very happy with the performance it's now 5 years later 2025 and I still get a full day on an 80% charge. I credit that with always charging it between 20% and never more than 80%. The camera is very capable like many phone cameras in low light It suffers a bit but in normal lighting fantastic photos

I bought this phone in 2021 during the pandemic and still works great in 2025, i think battery lasts a but less than the first year of use, and sometimes the ui crashes and some apps too, but other than that, still works perfectly, really love the phone, i still use it to this day, in fact, i'm posting this with the phone 😊

Works perfectly with some issues after 4-5 years of usage, issues are only software related but fixable like flickering package installer, soft bootloop, apps crashing, all except bootloop (fixed with r-mode method) can be fixed with a restart.

bought in store secondhand. still gives what you need,i feel miui14
gives the phone good perfomance.. camera or gaming no lag
battery is monster even if its old phone model..
just some minor issue like volume button up and down hard to press beacuse its secondhand maybe from 1st owner used to press the button like h3ll,...

Still using since 2022, nothing break so far, use it quite a bit for gaming and the battery is still hold, maybe 15-18 hours

I still have this phone :) it's my daily. On MIUI 14 now. Nearly 5 years old.
I thought the charge port was broken... repair place cleaned the port, good as new.
Recommend getting a cover for the charge port. Phone cases for this phone don't seem to include one, but repair shop had one that sticks to the back of the phone, plugs into the port when you're not charging. prevents crap from getting in there.
Phone is still responsive and useful, and still lasts a day and a half or more on a full charge.

Can't talk about the camera as I prefer to use GCam instead of the stock one.
