Am having issues with the side finger sensor. At times despite multiple thumb touches doesn't turn on. And when does displays tried multiple attempts, type your password...
Any guesses?

Slater1133, 20 Dec 2021Charging ic issue.Hey, try going into fastboot, plugging your charger and then restarting to system with the charger connected. Worked for me.

After 15 months of usage, and charging till 100%, battery health declined by 7% to 93%.
Approx 5% decline per year, is it normal?
Anyone whose observed a decline in a similar time?

Is anyone ever try to explore dual audio setting on this note 9 pro?
Kind of connecting 2 TWS at once or 1 TWS and also audio jack?
I see this dual audio feature in bluetooth setting on Samsung S8 and above.

Anonymous, 11 Dec 2021Does the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro come with a preinstalled screen protector?yes, it has pre installed screen protector, it is a good midrange phone in all aspects, the only complaint I have about this mobile, internet bands, it 12 bands, it should have had at least 16 or 17 global bands for better network reception, but it still good, it has very nice design with strong build quality,I have it.

Anonymous, 11 Dec 2021It is true that Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro camera fill up with dust making camera useless?That was an issue from those assembled in Indonesia late 2020 but everywhere else didn't have that problem. The ones released early in 2020 had no such issues.
I had my phone for a year and a half now and the camera has no dust issues and I work daily on a construction site

having this phone for almost a year 6/128 gb version and here is my opinion
1. problem with proximity sensor , there is no option to turn on so sometime when you make a call the display goes black and you cannot see anything until the call is finished even if you touch the buttons
2. the phone is not choosing automatically best wifi for example in my house i have two wifi routers and when i go near 2nd router the phone is choosing 4g and not the wifi i have to search the wifi manually to connect the phone.
these are two main weakness that i noticed to this phone otherwise the battery is still strong it least almost 40 hrs with one charging ( without playing the games), but couple hours on social media like fcb,youtube, insta,tiktok... camera is still good comparing with price the most i like it is good eis camera.

if u havin problems with ur phone. ur unit is probably from a faulty batch. id get it swiched

Does anyone have issues with video recording sound i loud environments, it clipping heavily, video is not usibele. I tried to use open camera app but it didn't help.

Naga, 30 Nov 2021Got update notification miui 12.5.4.0 and instantly uodated. Just realised how big mistake it ... moreMy RN9 Pro 18 months old, running 12.5.4 charges from 13-100 in 60 mins
Battery app though says health is at 94%, degraded by 6% in 18 months.
I have doubts, but could be correct since I always charge to 100 vs. 80 .95 wear
Still gives me 12 hrs SOT at 17%...
I'll replace once it falls to 80%.
But is a great phone for money!

Rony, 02 Dec 2021Is there any issues in new miui 12.5.2.0 in your redmi note 9 pro. I also got this update too.... moreInstall it ASAP, don't even think twice. None issues, rather some rectified. Performance improved, battery life etc.
