I still have this phone :) it's my daily. On MIUI 14 now. Nearly 5 years old.
I thought the charge port was broken... repair place cleaned the port, good as new.
Recommend getting a cover for the charge port. Phone cases for this phone don't seem to include one, but repair shop had one that sticks to the back of the phone, plugs into the port when you're not charging. prevents crap from getting in there.
Phone is still responsive and useful, and still lasts a day and a half or more on a full charge.

Can't talk about the camera as I prefer to use GCam instead of the stock one.

Once following the guides to get rid of ads and thoroughly debloated with ADB is a quite capable device still in 2024 especially for basic usage, and using GCam the camera is still more capable.

I've had this phone for a month (I was lucky enough to buy a perfectly preserved copy), updated it to A13, watched a lot of videos on youtube, optimized it to the maximum and now the phone is flying, the battery is perfect (although I don't play games and I don't watch movies) so it takes three days...

Had the screen replaced in early 2024 because the digitiser started to fail.
Aside from that this phone has worked great since I purchased it in 2020.

Still using this beast,,.,,. The issues i get with dis phone is memory card slot is no more working, it restart itself at least 2twice in a day, loads of ads, speaker is not working perfectly, battery draining faster,..,,,. I wannna upgrade but can't find RN13 pro version in our zone.,,. I'm on crossroad maybe switch to vivo40 or reno12 pro bcos I can't find the one I prefer here.,.,,. RN13 pro+ is not match for me maybe bcos I don't wanna leave snapdragon

Bought it (64gb 4gb) at the time of release 4 years ago and still going strong. No problems with then and now processing speed and overall performance except that the battery has deteriorated now due to extreme usage. I play online mobile games and watch Netflix etc for hours everyday. Must say that the battery life on a single charge has seriously impressed me even in year 4 of usage.

I was with this phone and got it 4 years ago (in august). The phone was really good at its time and it was actually pretty fast, but unfortunately its now old and the phone starts to slow down. This was the best phone when it was 2020-2022. If you're looking to buy a phone and don't want anything overkill, this might be a option(just saying).

I bought this phone as a open box but it was still new in the box not a scratch on it ( Best investment I have ever made) But it did not come with its original charger and I only came to realise an year later that it had the capability to Turbo Charge. What a waste. I bought it's charger and I was thrilled. However the phone has some downsides, it's network coverage on our local carriers is wanting. And not one carrier,i tried Safaricom, Airtel and Faiba 4g, in contrast I have a Tecno Spark 10 Pro which with any simcards will do insane speeds with wifi and even do Calls in HD.
The best things about this phone however has been durability, fallen several times, although it has a back cover Nilkin Case and a screen protector,when I remove them it's still as good as New. The camera is super great. Works for me. And the speed ,there times when the phone feels slow but i recently went to install a Ubiquity Unifi 6 access point at a client's office and while testing i realised they had a 400mbps package and the reception of U6 made my phone feel freaking fast and snappy and i realised Holy shit, could it be that because my phones networks is slow and my office wifi average 10mbs and has a ton of people is what makea this phone feel slow. I haven't tested that theory yet but i recently upgraded my home wifi maybe i will have the answer to that soon.

After downgrade from MIUI 14, MIUI 12.5.5 is not working properly, cannot make phone calls and no sound. Can this be fixed or I need to change to another rom?
