I've been using RN9Pro "joyeuse" for almost 2 months. Battery is great. Screen is great. No screen bleeding even I have the Tianma panel. Sound is great. Earphone playback is also great for it's stock equalizer and even better with Viper4Android. The only problem I see is it's name is very confusing. Xiaomi should need to learn a standardized naming of their phones so that the users will not be confused if they are planning to customize it. Users mistakenly recognize RN9Pro of India to RN9Pro Global as same. Users should be mindful of the board name instead.
Ars, 17 Jul 2020note 9 pro or samsung a51User experience wise A51 unless you are a gamer or use the phone for 10+ hours a day.

Ars, 17 Jul 2020note 9 pro or samsung a51no one should buy Samsung, the quality of their products are bad. I have used Samsung appliances and electronic products for over 15 years and they really sucks. The AMOLED display is no good too as it will damage your eyes in the long term.
Anonymous, 16 Jul 2020This phone or Samsung A51?Or anything else? For display, quality software without ads and security + support, less weight and size go A51.
For performance, battery life and price go note 9 pro. If you are a heavy gamer then this one is a no brainer.
The true Awsome Screen (although non-OLED), Awsome Camera (with AI and hundreds of hidden features) and Long Lasting Battery Life (2 days without charge, plus the 33W charging adapter is epic.) The Punch-hole screen design is also an elegant touch, compared to the overused waterdrop notches commonly found on other budget devices.
Everything bundled in this budget midrange phone. Routine updates and great community support are the best things Xiaomi has to offer.
Jilpaans, 15 Jul 2020Not for gaming or heavy use. For regular browsing, watching movie and expecting Good Loud ... moreI've used mine for all of the above and it's perfectly fine..never lags even on max graphics settings on mobile data.maybe you need to free up your system.

For example, in India, the Note 9 pro is the Note 9S in the Philippines, and the Note 9 Pro max in India, is the Note 9 Pro in the Philippines. So you're maybe reading the specs for the Note 9S, not really the Note 9 Pro.

For regular browsing, watching movie and expecting Good Loud ... moreNote 9 Pro, imo.
If you want note 8 edition, just note 8 (not pro) has better value.
I've been Samsung's user, and really disappointed. Using Xiaomi now, and really quite satisfied.
Pat, 13 Jul 2020My new phone is hot at back, near camera is that normal? That is normal for Xiaomi
I'm confused. It says here that the camera is 64mp but when I browse for the difference between note 9 pro and note 9 pro max I'm being told that 9 pro has 48mp and maximum RAM of 6GB while 9 pro max is the one with 64mp and maximum RAM of 8GB and a faster charging than 9pro.
Please give the difference between both phones.
