I was kinda disappointed with the features of this device.

This phone is so tall.. It's hard to reach top of the screen with one hand. Difficult to fit in Jeans pockets.

Please make phone lighter. Bigger battery capacity are welcome but no need for glass back. It only make the phone heavier and more finger smudges. Most people put on a case and cover up the back anyway.

It will probably have more software support and it has a better camera. The chip is better, even if you don't care, it will be better in the long run. Yeah, the note 8 has 2 GB more RAM, but it doesn't really matter. It's also newer. You can still decide, but I prefer the Note 9S/ Note 9 Pro. You should still try out the Note9S/ Note 9 Pro.

I have a new note 8 pro (6gb Ram) and a Note 9s 4Gb on the way. Both are same price.
Which to keep and which to return ?
I dont care for gaming. Display quality, battery life and overall smoothness when using phone are more important. I guess 9pro will eventually have better custom rom support.
Any thoughts?

But image processing and sensor is important... moreYou are right image processing is important but not just software processing but hardware ISP built in the SoC which is why iphone takes better images than most android phones despite of android phones coming out with crazy megapixel counts.

Not impressed, having a LCD screen is really a big downside for me.
I have a Redmi Note 6 Pro, i bought it 2 years ago. In the last half year the screen just got "burnt" all the time when i used the keyboard or any application that was white would burn the screen. So if text someone and then went to see something on Youtube, i would still see the keyboard burnt in the screen.
So please if you are thinking on buy any phone prioritize the AMOLED screen they are much better

I just tried some premium grade bluetooth headset with the Note 9 Pro. Just here to report that sound output via audio jack or bluetooth is very average. Also the system wide sound volume is not properly optimized. In music player, you have good sound volume but open YouTube, Chrome, PUBG or any other app you'll feel the sound is lower and need to up the volume.

I wanted to give a shot on Xiaomi's device as few of my friends give positive response on their Xiaomi device though they're using flagship Mi series, Redmi Note 9 Pro does have it's own charm to me. That Aurora Blue color and the large battery was sweet.
