who tested miui 12.5 global, please tell us the battery life etc and if there's any major bugs and how's the performance

Last night I received the MIUI 12.5.1 update (Global), and I can say that it works well, without any major problems.
The one thing I noticed is that Xiaomi still hasn't fixed the horizontal arrangement of items in Recents. You can take a look for yourselves when you open Settings > Home screen > Arrange items in Recents. If you select Horizontally, it becomes impossible to swipe the windows away from the Recents page.
Anyway, I have a question - does anyone know where in Settings I can find the option to disable automatic theming of the status bar and navigation bar?
I turned it on last night after installation of the update, and now I can't find it anywhere.

I've had the phone since 2020 and it started out great. The last Miui 12 updates have been problematic. Unlock the bootloader, get Orange Fox recovery and load up Xiaomi Eu unofficial stock rom. This rom is solid.

to everyone facing problem with miui updates. Try disabling some MI APPS or uninstalling them via ADB, search on xda how debloat miui.
I unlocked bootloader, installed OrgangeFox Recovery and put a xiaomi.eu rom and work flawless

Redmi Note 9s user.
I have been facing a issue with incoming calls. there is a 4-5 seconds delay when there is an incoming call. its very annoying though. Anyone knows how to fix it.

redmi not 9s: took a long time to update Android 11, and now miui12.5, takes a long time, as always we do not feel any changes and good performance, the global version of miui12.5 is dead

Incredibly good for the price. Been using this for the past year already and for something that's priced at only around $200, it's incredibly powerful. Most phones on the same price range have specs that are 3x slower. There are ads, but they only show up sometimes depending on how often you install or use Xiaomi's apps. You can turn it off. Also keep in mind that the phone gets a lot slower when the battery is low, on battery saver mode, or if you run a lot of background apps.

Its camera is definitely not bad, and the size and weight of a phone really shouldn't be reasons for the 'worst phone' and 'waste of money' kind of comments. Do your research before purchasing a phone, check its specifications to see how big/small and heavy/light it is, and then make your choice.
A year ago I made a choice to buy this phone, and I've been more than happy with it.
