I am thinking of buying a new phone for my mom. Which phone should I chose from Redmi Note 9S or Redmi Note 9Pro? Please note that it will be mostly used for whats app calls/ net browsing/watching you tube videos etc. not for gaming.

Using note9s global version for past 4 month...have ear piece problem, today was happy to see miui 12 update notifications, but after sometime the update notification disappeared,so sad.tried to check for updates through settings,about phone...but it shows phone is up to date...still in miui 11....any idea...
Also ghost touch appeared from lady two days...gboard giving trouble...it's getting freezes...
Can anyone help me....

I installed MIUI 12 today ... so far so good .... I think the device performance is better

I got miui 12 update, but I don't know if I should install it? I don't want it to mess something up, cause everything is working perfectly for now? What do you guys think?

My redmi note 9s is shutting off and on. and i can't use it anymore. what happening to my phone, it is only 1/2 weeks from the day i bought it. huhuhu sad

jekub, 27 Oct 2020can u help me with my problem?Might be a lot of reasons causing this. Try clearing apps in recent apps tabs for freeing RAM. Also make sure to update to latest MIUI version. Maybe you have installed a third party app causing this. Turn off developer options if you have changed some settings there. And lastly try to factory reset after backup and see if it helps.

using 9s 128gb/6gb international version for few months now. all good upto now. very good battery life. want to know is it better to update to miui12 or remain in 11

hi i need help or advice if any of you encountered this problem please respond asap.
i recently rebooted and reformatted my note 9s and then tonight while watching netflix, apps suddenly started stopping, random apps. google, xiaomi cloud, even messenger and youtube. it says "youtube keeps stopping" and then asks me to either report it or cancel. does my phone have virus or is this normal? and what to do?? i have6/128gb and global rom.

Hello. My phone is redmi note 9s. Everything about this phone is perfect specially the camera and everything. But I cannot hear the person on call and I have to put it on speaker mode. Is there any solution or I just have to wait for the update MUIU12? I would be thankfull if someone answers me

My phone worked fine after i send it to repair for earpiece issue but same problem again after using it for 4 days ear pice not working again i hope that it will be resolved after 12 update .

hi everyone.
i bought note 9s last week. phone is great in term of battery life, camera sound. i am not gamer so it suits me really. only problem is that while calling after 2 or 3 minutes caller can hear me while i can hear him clearly. so i need to cut off call and give him call again. but on head phone it works perfectly. can anyone suggest what to do with this or wait for update?

Firasat, 22 Oct 2020Is anyone having an issue of "can't connect camera" when you start the camera a... moreInstall another camera app to see if it works. I recommend Gcam.
If it does work, to fix normal installed camera app, go to settings--->apps---->camera---->data and cache....delete these. If normal app works now then it has a bug.
