In my opinion, simple! You want better phone, best smart phone? Spend more! Producers and manufacturers with their own branding has their own specification and quality guidelines to comply for quality assurance and warranty purposes. For each models and series type of device. We only pay what we are buying. They had been with these business for so long. We want devices with our own specifications and standards? Then we produce our own! We cannot and it is not possible to make a device with the specs of all brands in one unit. Like Appple, Google, Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Oneplus, Realme, Xperia, Motorola, LG and Vertu to be in one phone. Not possible. "TRADEMARK" and ©®, these are some ponits to consider. It will "crash" the device. They have their own difference and indifference. Like US, humans. We also have our individual differences. So, be contented of what you had bought. We pay for that, we desreve that. Or, the next one might be worst! I almost used all types and brands of phones from analogue to Nokia series to Android and iPhone. And "VERTU" as the most expensive, yet not so powerful enough. But i'm a very FAN and loyal user of XIAOMI phones. To be honest, there's a lot better than my Xiaomi Brand. But expensive and i "only use for purpose" phones? Call, SMS, Browse and simple photo taking for remembrance. So agian, "Love your own device, the next one might be worst"! Good luck and PEACE OUT!

The store I bought it from removed ... moreThis is such a misleading generalization that it probably doesn't even deserve a comment. First of all, to say that Samsung or Motorola don't have bugs is simply false.
Secondly, one of the biggest phone brands in the world cannot be a scam. Millions of satisfied users attest to that, myself included.
The Note 9S is an excellent phone, I haven't experienced a single major bug so far, even after upgrading to MIUI 12, so please stop with the generalizing and misleading.
I"m sorry if you have a faulty unit, but it's really not fair to bash a very good phone that is the Note 9S, or Xiaomi as a world-recognized brand.

So after updating to MIUI 12 a few days now I have noticed some lag when using the new camera interface. I will keep posing as anything else comes up.

The store I bought it from removed it from the offer because of the returns and complains.
Xiaomi isn't a real brand, it's a scam.
I had Huawei, Motorola, Samsung, I never had a bug or a problem with any phone, but Xiaomi had thousands of problems. They don't even fix the issues, they continue selling the defective phones as if they don't even care. I wish they were banned from Google Services, not Huawei.

Whenever I take any screenshot I don't know why but the screenshoted picture becomes dull than the screen I was using few minutes before. Also my home screen wallpaper looks dull ....Why it became like this?

hello, i am thinking to upgrade my phone. is it worth tk buy redmi note 9, note 9s or redmi 6? i am not a heavy gamer and i only use phone for video and photography edits, social media.

I have few issues, but it doesnt worry me much as the phone is great for its price, totally satisfied with it! Especially with camera works magnificently at its price, id rate 8/10. The camera is on par or maybe a little bit better in my POV of 9 pro, note 8 pro, realme 6 despite its 48MP.
Battery is amazing, have been using the phone for almost half a year and it still works like the first day I bought the phone. Definitely can last a whole day with moderate gaming, full gaming SOT in my experience would be at least 5-8 hours ( depends on the game ure playing )

So I finally decided to update after worrying about bugs. I must say I like the new features such as window mode for specific apps. And the new notification shade. No visible issues so far. I think if you had a issue before the update this update probably won't solve it for you. My phone had 0 issues before update and this carries forward. Battery life seems the same to me, as well as performance. The new pull down shade for toggles does seem to lag at times, and hitting a toggle sometimes does not register and I have to wait and press it a second time. Bit I blame this on the animations that went into creating this beautiful iOS-like toggles. If you are worried about updating don't be. If you want you can back up your data before you do. Cheers.
