So I finally decided to update after worrying about bugs. I must say I like the new features such as window mode for specific apps. And the new notification shade. No visible issues so far. I think if you had a issue before the update this update probably won't solve it for you. My phone had 0 issues before update and this carries forward. Battery life seems the same to me, as well as performance. The new pull down shade for toggles does seem to lag at times, and hitting a toggle sometimes does not register and I have to wait and press it a second time. Bit I blame this on the animations that went into creating this beautiful iOS-like toggles. If you are worried about updating don't be. If you want you can back up your data before you do. Cheers.

I hope this helps

Nothing, they haven't resolve that specific bug yet, you have to wait a little bit, probably this month or the next one (hopefully). But Xiaomi knows about that bug, it's reported, so that's a "good" news at least

I got the update today for 12 but I am waiting a few days to see if any issues arise with other people's phones and then I'll know what to do. My phone runs pretty ok on 11 but I like having the latest everything.

If you do not have antivirus app installed, try free version of Kaspersky, Bitdefender or Dr. Web. Try one or try one at time after installing running scan, if nothing, uninstall and try the next one and so forth. Previously Dr. Web Security found dangerous malware in another manufacturers phone made in china. So its possible, i recommend running a proper scan and disable or debloat your phone. See XDA forums for tutorials, this my save you headaches and money you spend on the phone.
