Unfortunately, all new redmi now are getting heavier with thickness 8.8-8.9 mm, much more than my redmi note 8 which 8.3 mm only. I'll wait for next 6 months for redmi note 11.

Camera specs don't seem good... Especially selfie camera with f/2.5 aperture. Not good for capturing details or perform good in lowlight conditions.
It'll need very good camera software optimisation to earn its price tag, like Huawei Nova 3i and Huawei P30 Lite camera.

I have been using this phone since May 14th and I am very pleased with the screen, extra long battery life due to its 5020 miah battery.
To all those complaining about screen bleeding, I do not even know what that is and to me this ips lcd is just as good as any other I've used since 2015
The only issue I had was the quick edit tile disappeared and I was not able to add/remove tiles such as Bluetooth location etc.
Resetting the phone and setting it up as a brand new device, not restoring any Google account backup. Did not even put a Mi Account on the phone. This has fixed the issue thus far.

Yes guys, call it whatever you want, bleeding, shadowing, ghosting, i'm not good with tech terms, but i'll try explain.
After updating to 11.0.8, both units still had the black light around the borders and the camera hole, but here's the good news, after playing +5hrs with one device and watching netflix for about the same duration, the side shadows are totally gone, and the colors are super even now, but (yeah yeah, it's common for LCD displays) the blacklight around the camera hole is still there.
I don't know if the usage or the update fixed the problem.

What you see on the screen are shadows which is barely visible. And it is a norm in all LCDs screen.
If it bleeding, you won't see your screen display a thing.
Am also using this best and it great for its price

Bought this phone and been using it as my daily driver for almost 2 weeks now .
First, the battery life is incredible, I used this phone for light gaming and social medias, If you are a user like me you can expect a full day and maybe more in a single charge. If you use this phone for heavy gaming then i would expect 6 hours straight for pubg mobile.
Second, if you are a pubg mobile player then I would recommend you this phone as it has only little to none lags when you play the game . default graphic is Smooth/ultra but if you use gfx tool the phone can run pubgm in Smooth/extreme no problem.
Third, there IS screen bleeding even after updating to the newest MIUI 11.0.8 . the bleeding is not severe, and if you are an average user i am 100% sure the screen bleeding wont affect you .
Lastly, the camera impresses me. the pictures it takes on daylight is amazing and certainly one of the best in its price segment, shots on lowlight are not the best however, but if you get enough lighting it could get better.
Do I recommend this phone ? Of course , this phone is one of the best midrangers on the market right now . I suggest considering Realme 6 if you prefer a smooth UI experience and also fast charging.
