Xiaomi Redmi Note, a powerful yet affordable phablet, will be officially launching in India on December 2. Just like other Xiaomi models the stock will be limited and users will be able to buy it only if they have already registered their interest online in advance.
The registration process is now open and will last until December 1. On the following day the first 50,000 registered users will be able to buy the device.
Flipkart is offering the octa-core flavor of the Xiaomi Redmi Note. It has a MediaTek chipset and we recently reviewed it. Airtel will be carrying the 4G-enabled Xiaomi Redmi Note, which is based on the Snapdragon 400 chipset.
The non-LTE Redmi Note costs INR 8,999 or $145, while the Redmi Note 4G on Airtel costs INR 9,999 or $161. Both will launch this December in India.
Thanks, Saravanan, for the tip!
