The Redmi Pad 2 Pro is out now, and it is looking like a great tablet on a budget. It's an all-metal slate with a large screen, powerful enough hardware, a massive battery and capable software.
The Redmi Pad 2 Pro packs a 12.1-inch LCD screen of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision support. This year, you can get the tablet with a matte screen designed to make stylus use feel more like paper and improve visibility.
The tablet uses the 4th Gen Snapdragon 7 chip with improved processor and graphics. You can choose between 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB storage versions, but there is no cellular-enabled model for now.
The Redmi Pad 2 Pro has an 8MP AF camera with a LED flash on the back, and another 8MP FF camera for video calls at the front. There are also four Dolby Atmos speakers around the Pad Pro 2.
One of the most notable upgrades over the previous model is the larger 12,000mAh battery, which supports 33W wired charging and up to 27W reverse wired charging, making the Pad 2 Pro into a potential power bank for your phone.
The Redmi Pad 2 Pro supports the optional Redmi Smart Pen and Redmi Pad 2 Pro Keyboard, in case you want to turn this affordable tablet into a powerful multitool on the go.
The Redmi Pad 2 Pro seems like a solid mid-range tablet, and the only obvious omission from our first look at the specs is a cellular-enabled version.
The Xiaomi Redmi Pad 2 Pro ships in a typical large and somewhat thick box. Most markets outside the EU will get a 33W power adapter, a USB cable, and a microSD ejection pin.
If you get the Redmi Pad 2 Pro in Europe, there will be no charger inside.
I really so disappointed in all Redmi pad without sim card are they thinking all countries are using WiFi connection, why producing WiFi only
