Xiaomi, you should make it more expensive a little for nfc and android pay that would be a perfect budget phone for me
Anonymous, 02 Aug 2016Yaa xiaomi announced it for india in snapdragon chipset..wait...1-2 monthCool..I was trying all places just to know will this phone even launch in India.
Or disappear like 'Xiaomi Mi Note Pro'
Thanks for the update bro.
Anonymous, 02 Aug 2016Maybe (and I don't know for sure) the x25 is a bit slower than Snapdragon 820 but normal users... moreI read somewhere that this model will have th known and loved xiaomi quick charge as well. ;)
also go to the website to see what the cpu really is, because it is wrong here. Over 2ghz x 10 would be absurd and also drsin the fuck out of your battery.
The x20 is lesser to the x25 tho, but should still be amazing and the x25 is probably still faster than the snapdragon 820 (especially on paper)
But since miui7 is quite known for being slower than it should be,well.... you got to remember that new snapdragon chipsets will come in the next gen of phones tho (not in the galaxy note 7) . Also don't know how good it is optimised, being a new mali gpu and new helio cpu.
That last mention, if it's a problem to begin with, should be solved over time by some software fixes.
Have wonderful day sir
We are still waiting for Xiaomi Mini.. this is a nice try too.. excellent camera..nice design.. but I love mini... 5.5 is too large for me..
Maybe (and I don't know for sure) the x25 is a bit slower than Snapdragon 820 but normal users won't see it that way. It gives you enough power for 99% of users.
GorilaGlass isn't supported because Xiaomi has it's own glass protection that is (by studies) better than GG 4.
The downsides are no NFC, no support for wifi 802.11 ac, and no fast charging?
Don't know why there isn't any fast charging because the lower and older models have it!
You get some high end stuff but it lacks some things that are normal for mid range.
I'd change the double camera for fast charging every day!
AnonD-566972, 01 Aug 2016Guys, i wnt to ask, which one is better : xiaomi redmi pro or xiaomi mi5?MI5 is a flagship phone...
Redmi pro is a midranger...

Anonymous, 30 Jul 201610 core dosent mean anything, compare s820 with 4 core to s810 or exynos 7420(form s6,i think i... more10 core but its a triclustered processor. 10 core not meant only for raw performance, its majorly for multitasking and mainly battery saving. According to the load it switches the cores to performance and battery saving.

Anonymous, 31 Jul 2016Am i the only one to find questionable that the wlan only supports 802.11 b/g/n and no ac. Yes, you pointed out an important feature that xiaomi wanted to exclude in this phone - NO ac band in wifi. backward thinking, so much for the fanfare and yet it omitted ac band. So no need to buy it unless buyers do not have ac band on their routers.
AnonD-237381, 31 Jul 2016Well, it can't be better than any other phone in the market because it uses MediaTek SoC. SD65... moreHoping they'll release a Snapdragon Edition of this phone. Might still buy it with it's current choose though.
