Xiaomi Android Rumors

Xiaomi will hold an event in mid-September to unveil a new high-end smartphone. What’s special about it is the price, CNY 2,000 ($292/€253). That’s how much the original Xiaomi phone cost.

Also, it’s about the same as the Pocophone, which (strangely) isn’t available in China. So instead of a new “flagship killer” this event may be about the Poco coming home.

And we’re sure it’s not about the Mi Mix 3 as that should cost more than the Mi 8 (CNY 2,700). Actually, the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE is CNY 1,800, which is pretty close.

I think you're victim of media. :( Check for better reviews from India . . . nothing with flagship or killer, more 'midrange king' or like that.

In India POCO only cold as 'Midrange King' but even that maybe a tall story. ". . . the display doesn't quite look to be sitting flush with the body of the phone." - as stated in a review. Build quality not better, than that of Zenfo...
