Works fine over HDMI use it all the time. You need to make sure you get the right cable some of the HDMI cables have 5 pin and some 11 pin. You need to get I think the 5 pin on (same as the Sony). I bought mine out of the 99p store and it works spot on :)
Performance is ace, tablet is fine. New update does slow it down but if you reflash from Nvidia downloads site the 3.0 Restore Firmware it does fix the performance/battery life with lollipop etc.

I have ordered one from flipkart and it comes with lollipop in it... However when I tried to use its portable wifi it is turning on but not discoverable to other devices also taking too much time in enabling hot spot. Is it due to lollipop in it or do I have a defected version.? Kindly help....

This is very good tab, but don't expect any updates. Right now it runs well on Kitkat. This has a Lollipop update but it has lots of issues (For some, its fine)(Still waiting for a Fix).
Just read the reviews before getting this tab.

Had any one tryed using dongle(using sim in it) to use Internet because as it support wifi only .

But I advise you to not to update to Lollipop as most of them have battery draining, heating issues etc. Stay on Kitkat until Nvidia releases a Fix(Still waiting from a long time) for those issues. The device is great with Kitkat on it.

awesome tablet in the price, Lags a bit for heavy games like Mortal kombat, or else for me use it for subway surfer, Sonic dash and COC. it is a perfect game. People playing COC always complain about one thing. BATTERY!!! This one defies it. Very strong battery backup. My phone on full charge allows me to play COC for not more than 2 hrs when I have got brightness to zero and on 2g network. This one allows me to use it with full brightness for 4 hrs atleast. Very happy with the Tab. Also the stylus is not that helpfull but for my 4 yr old son it is a boon to help him draw things on this TAB and hence my house walls are spared. lol. Thanx NVIDIA for this awesome product...

AnonD-462690, 04 Nov 2015How to use the HDMI. Connected with TV via cable it says no signalWierd. My friend connected it directly and it worked fine. Are you sure you changed the source of your TV to HDMI ?
