just boot into recovery mode then go to advanced and choose fix permissions.
could be front camera component is broken but I wouldn't make that assumption yet but it could also be a zillion things that connect to it as well.maybe you could find a simple camera app that doesn't have a front facing camera functionality and see if you can get it to work. I don't know a lot of limited camera apps, but try an old miui camera http://db.tt/7esIix13 it only uses the rear lens

I hv been using xolo q2000 since 4 month. Its a exellent device. Everything is working well and good. If u go for economically cheap device xolo is best...graphics quality is very best for games. Its really awsom.

How to fix camera problem.i am facing this problem from when i buy this xolo q2000.when i open camera then screen look luke full black and after clicking on any option on top menu bar it respond like"unfortunately gallery had stopped". Plz help me ..is any one had sought out this problem...so plz reply me,...

AnonD-121589, 30 Apr 2014when you say full phone cover are you talking about something like a pouch or is it a book cover?Neither book cover nor pouch, I mean the one which fits on the back & cover screen from sides and edges..
So another problem I'm facing now I put up a pinlock and I can't remove it now. I was looking to set up a pattern but it says disabled by user blah blah. I now want to remove the lock but can't remove.+ the old unfortunately gallery stopped working problem is still as it is.
Gosh stupid software. Really can't take any other problem or it will b bye to this beauty.

Is the camera qual... moreif you have read everything by now i think you should be able to decide whether to buy or not... If you ask me cam is really good, I'll upload some pictures and clips of my trip soon hopefully you can decide by then..
