Yesterday got Official update 4.42 FINAL VERSION OTA but app memory still 0.98 GB

Yesterday upgraded from Noida based service center.
It took only 15 minutes.
Works likea charm.
ROM increased to 4GB.thanks to xolo.
Now the WiFi connection takes less than a moment. Thanks to xolo.
Battery backup not affected.
All previous cons are gone away. Thanks xolo.
Amazing phone Xolo Q3000.
India's Best phone in lowest budget with highest configuration.
No problems in customer service.
No defects in manufacturing either.

I also got an OTA update of Kitkat but I can't download it as my mob says , not enough space ,free memory . What to do ?Plz help guys . If I get Kitkat , is going back to Jellybean possible?

hi, i got xoloq3000 on 7thJul2014, it works 2 month smoothly,after 2 month there is auto off problem arises, i submitted my phone in service center on 6th Sep.2014. I received my phone on 22nd Oct2014 but it is totally changed, internal memory is 1GB and kitkat changed as gelly bean. these 2 major problem are arrived in my phone. So i never recommended for xolo in any case because there service is worst.

In reply to john,I am facing problems with this phone.bought it in jan.this year,suddenly went silent in July ,went to service centre,they sent it to head office,got new handset after 15 days. Worked alright for 2 months,again started malfunctioning a few days back,went to service centre,again they have sent to head office,now I do not know when it is going to come back,very frustating. I did not face these kind of problems with my earlier phones.

Any smart phone in world gets heat up if we play online games as the game keeps on broadcasting lot of packages. don't worry about battery temp as 42 degress is not that hot.
I play Asphalt 8 airborne and plants vs zombies 2 for hours and using it past six months without any notice in performance drop or battery charge holding capacity reducing. Enjoy :)

Kitkat certainly increases battery charging lasting time because it is optimised better then jelly beans. with regard to 4GB internal app memory you should get it upgraded only by Xolo Service centers and don"t update it from xolo site.

I have purchased Q3000 in Oct-2014 with Kitkat and 4GB internal storage, but be... moreHello Bro. Jelly beans version as we all know has only 1gb of Internal app memory. You have two options here.
1) either go to any authorised xolo service center and get your phone's operating system updated to Kitkat. but then as you told one hand operation will not be available. Anyways i myself found one hand operation mode rather useless as the phone turns out into some kind of remote desktop pc running on a very slow internet :D. that was highly disturbing so i always keep it off.
2) If you still want to stay onto jelly beans like how i am doing then you can root jelly beans os by VRoot software available at Blackmart. and then use Link2SD software to link your unmovable apps like Whatsapp, Wechat to the SD card partition.
Please follow the video links i am giving below through which you will be able to use your phones sd card partition to link unmovable apps directly to sd card rather then internal memory.
