Xperia active gets properly tortured, lives to tell the story

Sony Ericsson Android Touch UI

The Sony Ericsson Xperia active is certainly a tough phone, but you may not have realized how tough exactly it is. The rugged droid was just subjected to a series of torture tests and it passed them all with flying colors.

Sharp knives and hammer hits turned out to be no problem for the Xperia active Gorilla glass screen.

Being submerged into a few (admittedly shallow) puddles also didn't manage to bother the Sony Ericsson rugged droid even one bit.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia active was even run over by a Jeep Wrangler, but it kept going like nothing happened.

It's one thing when that kind of durability is achieved by a phone that looks like a tank (like the Sonim lineup, for example), but when it's done with something that neither half bad to look at, nor too unpleasant to use, we are really impressed.

Your thoughts on the Sony Ericsson Xperia active performance are welcome in the comments section below.
