ZTE announces the V870 mid-ranger

ZTE Android Announcement

ZTE is anything but slowing down after it got slain with $1.3B in fines three months ago. The company keeps going strong and launches device after device. The latest addition to the Chinese manufacturer’s portfolio is the ZTE V870.


The phone has 5.5” IPS screen with Full HD resolution. The chipset is the Snapdragon 435 by Qualcomm that has octa-core CPU, clocked at 1.4 GHz. RAM is 4 GB while storage is 64 GB, expandable via a microSD slot.

There is one 16 MP camera on the back and another 8 MP one on the front. The phone also has a fingerprint scanner on the back of its metallic body. There is a non-removable 3,000 mAh battery and two massive speakers.

The price in China is CNY2,699 or around $400.

$400??? for midranger??? if im right there 6GB 64gb ZTE nubia Z17 flagship cost $411 right???? there must be something wrong with this......
