stand corrected the diagonal while impressive runs into the ridiculous super-long aspect ratio that yields only 71mm width for the screen (not sure how this gets to be 77.9mm wide if more or less almost bezel-less) maybe it is not 2460 x 1080 should be more like 2256 x 1080

As far as I've seen with the under-display camera tech, the big companies are not really into it. They don't care and will let ZTE become a pioneer, Samsung and the others will just adopt what ZTE has released and improve on it. But even though they are quiet, they are still researching on it.

The technology is new, it may not work that well now.Yes, but innovation breeds competition, other companies will now start working on selling phones with underdisplay camara, and of course try to one up eachother, which will speed up rise in quality.
Remember when first underdisplay fingerprint sensors were used two years ago? Remember how shitty it was? And now they are countless times better.

The under-screen camera is groundbreaking. In fact, this time ZTE surpassed the greats in the market in that aspect that was already on the list of several companies for a long time. Well played ZTE.
