Jolt, 09 May 2019I think it's more about people that want to move data from one device to another or those that... moreThe moving from one device to another shouldnt be a problem. But yes if you have a sd card full of data it isnt nice. the problem is, this is a gaming phone. and you cant play very well on an sd card so i think thats why it doesnt support sd cards. But yes if you want to use it for filming ore just average you'll want an sd card
Dometalican, 08 May 2019For 8K video (which they advertise), absolutely. But most people don't buy this Phone to film. Most People buy this Phone to Game and or average usage. Also i don't think that it will film nice in 8k i guess it will look horrible. But yes if you want to film in 8k for longer than i guess 1 hour you will need more.

I have no idea what half of this thread is talking about. The amount of nitpicking on these phones is truly astonishing.
All I've got to say is with this phone, and the soon to be Redmi K20....there are for sure two flagship killer phones. I can't tell you how excited I am that this phone will be available in the U.S. Should be a fun year for cell phones.
Martin, 16 May 2019I look on youtube test and 8K rec in 15fps no 30fps and is a 8K Beta, wait on update. That is a joke, what do they think, this is still camera burst on an 825 or something? The thing should have enough power to do professional 8kp60 (not that the hardware enoder will handle that but the combined power of all the on chip processing systems should) and it can't even do consumer 8k properly? If this is all it does, I'll have to recommend against people buying it for 8k.

Possible to install honor view 20 camera apk on RM3???
Ace, 11 May 2019It works without active cooling, you're just gonna get throttling once it gets gunked up.I'm not into the topic of "How it would perform" given the fact, I'm just curious if anything that get inside (through the vents) can be get rid of easily.
joe nodden, 12 May 2019Well that wasn't the problem, apparently stabilization was. Very low bitrate is worst than no stabilization. While stabilization can be mitigated easily (gimbal, tripod, standing-still handheld, in post) bitrate isn't.
Software update might fix it 8k and night mode? Will there be android q update for RM3?
DroidBoye, 04 May 2019Don't celebrate just yet. Video resolution is not even half the spec needed, we still need to ... moreWell that wasn't the problem, apparently stabilization was.
