Looking for advice? I'd recommend against purchasing this device.
Firstly, ZTE does not permit the unlocking of the bootloader on this mobile phone, which is its most significant drawback. I returned it for this very reason.
The software on this cell phone is crap. It seems to be designed exclusively for the Chinese. The translations into English are poor, seemingly done by Google Translate rather than by a truly competent individual. It's utterly disappointing. There's an unnecessary anime girl feature powered by an LLM; we're not all enthusiasts of this, and unfortunately, it cannot be removed. The option to install a custom ROM is also unavailable.
The phone's cooling system doesn't offer substantial cooling; it's merely a placebo effect. It seems to be a marketing gimmick rather than a feature genuinely designed to cool the device.

This was removed and will be gone as a security measure. Radio can be exploited way too hard especially on smartphone without a dedicated radio off switch. Meaning you can get your comms tapped by random geeks in their car with radio transceivers. If you want radio get a ulephone. Hope this helps.

I hope there will be a change in terms of placement of the processor where it is placed in the middle of the phone so that they don't have to install a built-in fan only if the temperature rises just plug in the cooler. Like what the "next door" brand has done to their two series of gaming phones.

This phone is very good. Snapdragon 8GEN3 is such a powerful processor, it has such qualities in gaming, I feel as if you are playing in real life and forget about the camera, it is amazing and that too with so many functions.

But at least they have ... moreYeah, its asinine USB 2.0 is still a thing in 2024, even on flagship phones. We already had USB 3.0 over a decade ago, and MHL micro USB in ~2011. That I cant hook up my Xiaomi/Poco device to a TV/Monitor is asinine.
Mounting a USB 3.x over 2.0 is about 10-15$ extra in production cost and license, and software support on top of that, its not like we're asking for much.
Phones without USB 3.x shouldnt be recognized as flagships imo, probably an unpopular opinion, but a flagship should have the best of the best, and not 2010 tech.

How about factory lock?? İn Türkiye we are use this change phone imei number...is it ok like last version redmagic 8 ? İ used redmagic 8, and cannot hold that, becouse of sooooo much bugs

I care more a out photos than gaming and the cameras are more than just fine for the price and to achive that flat back for gaming. The bad move is not includig a card slot for a gaming device. High end phones not having card slots is not an excuse when you make other gaming compromises for your gaming phone.

As a member of the generation and lover of technology (and inveterate retro gamer), this is one of the most beautiful devices built in the last five years that I have ever seen, I practically fell in love with it (like its twin ZTE Z60).
If you love the square and minimalist style, it is a joy for the eyes, powerful, technologically advanced, efficient, with impeccable reception on the telephone side and excellent battery life.
A device that can be a phone and can also be a portable console.
It is harmony and balance together, but at the right price.
I personally have already reserved a unit, which will arrive on my birthday.
