Bay Area Pre Med Gir, 11 May 2016I've had my ZTE Zmax for over 1 yr & I loved it, had no issues & honestly its the 1st ... moreThere have been a lot of reports of the Zmax failing to charge. If it is less than 12 months old, you can contact ZTE and they will repair your phone or replace it with a refurb phone.
One thing that solves many phone problems is to do a "factory reset" that wipes out all of the software on your phone and replaces it with the original software. You should copy your photos to a computer before doing the reset. You can Google for the instructions on doing the reset.
Best Buy has the new Zmax 2, which is an AT&T GoPhone, and sells it for $60, $80, or $100 depending on the day of the week. You can slip in the Sim card from any AT&T phone, such as GoPhone, AT&T, Cricket Wireless, TracPhone, or Straight Talk, and the phone will work fine. It will work with T-Mobile and MetroPcs if you request the unlocking code from AT&T BEFORE you activate the phone.
I'm having the issue that I do the pattern to unlock my phone but when I go to settings to change it I can't... Its like the dots won't connect so I can change the pattern.
Bay Area Pre Med Gir, 11 May 2016I've had my ZTE Zmax for over 1 yr & I loved it, had no issues & honestly its the 1st ... moreI'm having the same problem. Out of nowhere my phone will no longer charge. I have bought several chargers and still the results are the same. If I turn if off it will charge, but once I turn it back on the charge is gone.
This phone (ZTE blade) takes ages to react and randomly switches on which drains the battery and it doesn't last long. I wouldn't recommend it. 2 out of 10 rate.
Bay Area Pre Med Gir, 11 May 2016I've had my ZTE Zmax for over 1 yr & I loved it, had no issues & honestly its the 1st ... moreI had the same problem but I just let it charge for about a day and it suddenly turned on. I dropped this phone so many times and there's even a cracked on my phone. It still hasn't given me any problems.
My ZTE Zmax won't charge or turn on. It was doing this for the past few weeks but now it won't do anything. When plugged into the charger the red light stays on but that's about all it has for life.
I'm about to give up on this phone. I love its size, but the issues having with it makes me miss my old phone. 1st off I can't send videos with it. 2ndly when I try to screen shot something, it deny's it saying " picture cannot be save because the memory may be in use". It spot saves the pictures I take, so a lot of the pics actually have a picture slot in the gallery but the slot is completely blank. I've lost pics from two vacations and various random pics! Also, if I u upload music to it it will only hold the music until I turn the phone off or the battery dies and then upon powering up all my music is just gone. Did this twice, I have a 60GB memory card in it and lost at least 30GB's of good music! Pisses me off even remembering it. I really wish they would make a free downloadable bug fixer for this phone. I don't know how much longer I'm gonna deal with this!

Boost Mobile dragging their feet , in filing the same. I bought my phone through a Boost mobile store, my juvenile son saw it and liked it so much he gave his allowances to get one, Wow, he was excited about the BIG SCREEN, that was what kids want to keep up with that fad. Both of our phones failed us. They even sent me the Maxx 2, a inch smaller than the one i purshaced what a RIP off, trying to make up for me not having a phone for so long. It was exciting again, My son wanted the (?UP GRADE ?) My upgrade stared to BUZZ twice every 5 seconds, Now i ME have to send it back about 3/4 times. I still dont have a resolution, My son has got him a Galaxy 4.

I've had my ZTE Zmax for over 1 yr & I loved it, had no issues & honestly its the 1st phone I really took care of (history of dropping phones)UNTIL... Out of of the blue it literally just won't charge tried 11 chargers Bought 3 New ones & still WONT CHARGE AT ALL!! WTF!!??,ANone else?
I really like this phone. It has a large screen, long battery life, and I found it is very reliable. It has good customer support as well. I paid only about $129 for the phone. My friends all have iPhones or Samsung Galaxy phones and are happy... but they paid over 4 TIMES what I paid. For the price, I think the choice is very clear. I highly recommend this phone.
I've had this phone for about a year and a half. I like it so much that even though T-Mobile (my carrier) offers me the opportunity to upgrade to a newer phone that I want (blackberry priv), I won't till I finish paying off this 1 & can keep it. Just a good solid piece of technology at a decent price.

The bat... moreI would love to know where you bought your Zmax I've owned mine for 2yrs I love it . the inlet for the charger wire is wearing out so I'm going to need a replacement my phone is tied Metro Pcs .
I have had this phone for almost 2 years. It is by far the best phone I have ever had. The battery life is great, picture resolution is great, and memory is great. I only need to charge my phone once every 2 weeks. I stream a lot of YouTube, Netflix, and Time Warner Cable daily. I love this phone so much I bought a back-up for when this model is no longer available for purchase I will always have one.
All of a sudden I cannot email my 2 new photos to my AOL account. I have done so many times before without a problem. I went to my MTRO PCS dealer/store and someone new there was trying to sell me a newer phone, which I do not want. He said that over time the photo transmission gets very slow. I did not believe that the speed of transmission would have changed.
Can anyone let me know if what he said is possible. And what can I do about sending these 2 photos. I've been trying for 5 days. It keeps "chirping" as if it were sending the email. Nothing arrives.
