to soulman.to add new address, go to address book, click trackwheel, make sure cursor is at "find" field.click trackwheel again and then select "new address". BB bluetooth only operates a headphone. for security reasons, you can't receive and send file.

Hey tony, guess what, you don't know everything so stop dictating what this phone is and what it isn't. This phone has bluetooth which is a good feature if you use it to get internet from your computer to your phone and you can use it to send files and bluetooth devices such as headsets and headphones. If you can pick up other peoples bluetooth and they cant pick your's up you might need to make sure your bluetooth is on and set to visible so others can see you.

Anyways good phone for people who want reliable "straight" and easy use. Bought one for my 9 year old son and he can use all the features and is loving it.

In response to the question regarding Bluetooth on Blackberry devices, it will allow you (on the newer blackberry os's) to send files but you will not be able to receive them, i think this is because of business related security, as most BB's are business use RIM would see hs's that can swap info via bluetooth as a potential security risk, and with the increasing threat of "Bluejacking", its just easier for blackberry's to not allow this function... I hope that helped answer your bluetooth question!

I'm curious, how does the Bluetooth operate? People cannot pick me up but I can Pick them up. I can't send or recieve items(eg.pictures). Also, how do you add names to your address book? i've tried, and can't. How do you access the numbers from your SIM card?

In regards to the person that said go buy a TOY cuz we need a camera, it is not to play.
I have a cell hone thats has everything, but email and internet, but I also need a camera phone for work.
Yes I think RIM, should build a camera phone plus all the options that already has.
It will be the best phone for now.

why do people keep complaining about no camera, mp3 etc etc? I use the 7100x for EMAIL linked through my companies Exchange...which is exactly what the handset is deigned for. If you want a toy phone go buy one, leave the blackberry to the serious user!!

Sending mine back, hate the thing, have now got the samsung (casio calculator) P300, much better phone, and none of this rubbish that the blackberry has to offer. If you are thinking about getting this blackberry think again. Way too many faults to list, bluetooth technology or the lack of it, you can only pare to a headset and even then it consistently resets itself. Even typing a text or email is a feet in itself. The wheel if used alot works loose, and the software is so outdated, there are better versions available, but I have yet to find one and this is my third blackberry. As a result I would never consider one again.

This phone is excellent. The emailing facility has never let me down. The software is excellent and have never had trouble with it. A real business phone.

I would not have another blackbery phone if you gave it to me. It would not connect to the computer as claimed. I damaged it and could not retrieve my information back losimgh all my contacts.
I also had trouble with reception and being heard.
