Yes , U can use it overseas, Europe, Africa, Asia. just take the Sim card out and get a local Sim card and here you go. Been there done it.

My buddy gave me his blackberry 8830 and took the SIM card out before he did..buti can still make phones calls with the phone and his number shows up...does anyone know how that works?
