Now, This is a good phone, Its got ICS 4.0 on board+ Sense 4.0 which is probably the best UI amongst Sony/Samsung/LG and other android phones. It has a good ppi i.e. more than 300, Finally It has a great hardware to match all these things with a 5 Core and enhanced GPU. However, I am scared of the battery (Only 1800 mAh)
I am a proud owner of Samsung Wave S8500 but now its been nearly 2 years and i want to get rid of it. I am confused between this and the Sony Xperia s. Xperia s has the advantage of better screen but smaller size, Better camera but lower specification. Plus, This comes on board with ICS and I am really not sure how long will the customers wait for ICS in Xperia s.
Help me out guys, Thanks a lot. I have no budget, Just the best phone (Android)
Generally speaking which do you think will be better? Htc one x or htc one xl I'm looking for smoothe ui smoothe browsing longer battery life.

There are fanatic people as well, there are people who really needs a bigger storage. As for me, 26 GB is enough. My main problem with HTC is their batteries.
hmmm everything awesome except battery. Like always htc fails with battery life ^^
The lack of memory card slot is likely to be down to Ice Cream Sandwich, the majority of phones launching with ICS won't have Mem Card Slots.
"Card slot: No"
really...........?
Mobilemaster, 10 Mar 2012HTC is a good company, but they suck in 2 things: battery and the lack of memory card. Eg the ... moreunfortunately, memory card has been shown to be one of the main culprits that is responsible for slower phone's performance over time.. i now rather have a big, non-expandable internal memory that favours performance over expandable memory that causes phones to slow down over time.. and i just realised the large chunk of memory that i used was for unnecessary 3D games like MW3 and Asphalt 6.. if i don't have them, i only use less than 3 GB of app+music+pic/vid+other docs..
it is very nice, the specs shown in this device are wonderful but it is still has some remarks like no SD memory card slot and it dose not have a super AMOLED screen, I belive that if it has those two thing it will dominate the market .
if it has at lest one of those and spically the memory card slot it will be concedered as the best.
These phones are getting just too damn big.
HTC one X is the first mobile in india which is launching with latest android version with 4.0 ice cream sandwich... and it has best web browsing also and it comes with the internal 32gb thats the very good mobile compare to other brands... superb
Mobilemaster, 08 Nov 2011It will have monster specs!! In my opinion it's pointless to make Quad Core phones yet. Dual C... morea quadcore processor would not consume more enerrgy, infact much lesser energy than a single core processor ! Plus, its 1800 mah li po battery, not li ion..!
So its infact better in battery life.
AnonD-45474, 08 Mar 2012beautiful device.....i noticed one thing tho...of all the videos promoting the camera on this ... moreit works with the preinstalled mirror app.
HTC is a good company, but they suck in 2 things: battery and the lack of memory card. Eg the LG 4X has a better battery, and has a micro SD card slot. HTC should learn from their mistake. I have to write this again and again. Sorry.
No,
NO,
The one xl is the lte version of the phone which will be emerging on Telstra and the like. It's even on the htc.com homepage and says so. I just know all this from www.htconeclub.com, anayway..
Just small correction on this specs:
1- It has a "Gorilla Glass 2" not just "Gorilla Glass"
2- It has a built-in Radio with RDS
3- In the camera section, it should say that it has Image Sense Technology.
4- Weight 130 grams is the device weight with the battery not just the device, its non-removable

It has Gorilla Glas 2.
Comment.... 26GB+25GB(dropbox) is enough for your whole multimedia (FullHD vids can be uploaded to dropbox and downloaded to your PC if you, by chance, find yourself with the memmory full) and that 1800mAh battery should suffice for a whole day of intensive use with that 4+1 Core processor, besides the original charger charges it up in no-time.
i can't find a hands-on with black version
the battery is removable?
