if i get this phone to use it in India will it work and support OTA updates?
The ommission of a radio chipset is embarassing to say the least...
Where's the review? Are u guys waiting for the final product or what's the matter?
C'mon guys, hurry up! All the other sites are publishing extremely contradictory results. Some e.g. say the battery is quite good and capable while others say battery life is one of the worst of all lately released phones (despite the fact that it's not checking LTE radio frequences).
Same thing about the call quality and voice/speaker performance. VERY inconsistent grading so far.
The third curiosity I'm concerned about is the overall benchmark results it got which (in some cases) compares unfavourably to the LG Optimus G.
And last but not least an thorough review on the dot-update of Jelly Bean is needed.
dreamshatty, 07 Nov 2012My dreams are shattered with the high price of nexus 4. Looking forward to buy but now wil set... moreThe google store price is actually very reasonable - remember that this is $300 no contract. Annoyed by lack of LTE though.
[deleted post]Google has chosen LG to make the Nexus, LG didn't make the Nexus just because they wanted to. Finally Google realised what company deserves their attention and realised that if they want to make a phone with good hardware, good display and quality, they have to choose LG. Samsung sells phones only with their name, like Apple does, this doesn't mean that they are good phones, not even close...sammyboy!
Keke, 07 Nov 2012Little Memory with no SD card!I think its fair. The price is cheap, only $299.
Google make it little because Google want you use their cloud.
If you want to buy a larger internal storage, buy Iphone or SGS3, but you must pay $600.
can we play flash videos from d memory n not from the net on this?

Previous Users of Nexus in India. I have a question for you regarding repairs and warranty.
Though the Nexus family is sturdy, but if you had technical issues (both hardware and software), how do you manage. Is there technicians in India capable of repairing the phone incase of a unforseen incident.
Thanks for your response in Advance. Cheers.
Google is doing what Apple does. Removing memory expansion slots, then selling cheap storage memory at high prices (though less greedy than Apple). Basically there's a 50$ price difference between 8GB and 16GB models, whereas you can just buy a 20$ 32GB SDcard if there's an expansion slot.
whattttttt tha helllllllllllllllll is this with company's only 8 and 16 gb memory options without memory card. why company's dont know that 16 gb memory is not enough for heavy gamers 1gb+ games can easily kill memory.
Just abt 20450 fo 8gb ver. In india
why dont google come with motorola? I came to knw that google has acquired motorola few months ago.
It will be totally unfair, if Google will sell this smartphone at such a cheap price at one side. And on the other hand, LG sells it to rest of the world at double price.
Im Android fan but.. an 8GB phone w/o a card slot released in Q4 2012 is a big bad joke.
