I've never heard of any cover breaking under any cirucumstances that wouldn't have broken any phone. It's solid, high-impact plastic, far thicker than the individual layers of plastic in a normal clamshell cover.
In other words - you really don't have to worry about it cracking, probably not ever.

for me its ok ... i am happy with the looks also. but the battery life is poor and processing speed is also not good ....
but i still love mu ming. becoz its a small cuty little beetle

yeah specs look OK for a touch screen PDA phone type device. Pity about the crappy looking see-through front cover :P

In HK I have heard almost no issue about poor quality of any A780...probably due the phone itself wasn't selling well. Though other than SE's P-series, how many major brands offer phones with both touch-screen and a regular keypad like A780?
And if you want to juddge the quality of phone which you probably haven't used merely based on past experience of a "single" phone, may I suggest you to read users' comments of the biggest brother's latest "quality" offering...N76? You want paint / chrome to come off? U get it! You want the flip not to "stand" where it should be? U got it!

No wifi???,all the reviews said it will have wifi...this does not encourage me to upgrade from my a1200...moto is disappointing me :-(

hahah i think now days moto people getting cazy hay moto peopl we r not fools what is the diff bet a1600 and a1800 only one has edge one dont have y u r not adding wifi without wifi i cant think about it we will get good phones with good feachers u r a780 disining is so cool but the build quality is so cheep i dont know how to explain that if some one nee the that a780 photos contact ashlypj@adnoc.com u know peopls a780 is good disign but buil qualiti is very bad with in 6 month we los the paint and bad quality key pad also the main thing is if we go 4 service we will not get it they will tel some thing and avoid us this is my experiance
