When it wants you to enter the lock code press the menu key. It will then ask you for the security code which is set as 000000 as default & that will let you change/remove the lock code.

I got this phone when it first came out a few years ago, and i adored it. After having it for a few months, it started doing the freezing thing that everyone else is talking about. I'd try to type something whether it was in a text or in a contact...
