It is a shame that xperia S is getting its update so late. I'll probably sell it and never buy sony phone again.

This is so very unjust to the miro and tipo users...
Atleast they could have told at the lunch time that these phones will not get jelly been update so we could hav gone for other models....

After releasing it with 4.0 if we are not abel to get 4.1 its a mear waste of money sepnt on these phones...
Its just been 3 monts i got MIRO for 14K, well if i had waited a little longer i could hav got samsung grand which by d way is going to rock on 20K budget....

Some facts about android 3.2 - 4.0 and 4.1 JB
I had a xperia arc with android 3.2 Then i upgraded to 4.0 when i bought a Samsung galaxy note II with 4.1 JB and Then i can say this about the system for 3.2, 4.0 ICS, 4.1JB I'll make it easy for you 3.2 is like xp 4.0 is like Vista and 4.1 is like windows 7. I would say the 4.1 is the best android system for a phone. and of couse Sony need to release this for all 2011 phones because 4.1 Jelly Bean ROCKS!

Currenlt using Xperia J. I am so happy because i am a sony fan from last 10 years.
But unsatisfy with JB.

I think the JB software should come to those who have waited long enough, like myself. I purchased the Sony Xperia S last March, but the younger phones get priority. I have to wait till April to update to JB? Samsung Galaxy SIII received JB within months of its release. I had to wait months for my GB software to update to ICS software, and now it will be months before I can update my phone to keep up with the rest. Terrible!!

In short Sony want's to tell the people that you buy our expensive phones and then be stuck with them. I'm a Sony Xperia Arc S user and I paid a large amount to purchase the phone just when it launched and now we're being told that it can't be updated. It only adds fuel to fire for purchasing the phone with just 315Mb internal storage capacity....! I ain't gonna buy a Sony product ever again in my life!!!!

Being a Xperia p users I am feeling bad for the phones missing the JB update..as I myself was getting Xperia u.. Just wanna say bad luck and Sony has its last word out..

tipo is not included in the upgradation list!!!. this is something not fair on the sony's responsibility. I really disappointed on their decision.

u must give the jelly bean update for the sola since its a capable phone and we r not satisfied with the ics ..........if not givin this update then whats the point in buying a phone worth 18k....i request the sony officials.....to do the necessary and make the sola users all over the world happy that they bought a very gud fone which was worth of its price..........

not a better idea of not giving Jelly Beans update for xperia SOLA... SONY u must give jelly beans update as Sola is quite very capable for d same... and we all sola users want Jelly Beans update. we are not satisfied with the ICS update and also one update dat u released in december... dat update is of no use... nothing happend in dat update rather dan changing Base Number and using my internet connection. all the improvements you wrote in update is nowhere seen in my phone... WE WANT JELLY BEANS UPDATE IN xperia SOLA asap...!!!!
