iOS has multi-tasking since 4.0. The major difference between iOS multi-tasking vs android's multitasking is this:

iOS filters and decide which processes is WORTH multi-tasking which is deemed unrequired and will only waste battery or user's experience and have it's state saved.

Android does not care and just let everything multi-task..

Gud enough reason ?

people this is cortex a9 but it is cloked at 25 ghz so it could give very good performance not only for midrange devices it could be a flagship for a low company

> In reply to Yogesh @ 2013-01-11 09:22 from 2@r3 - click to readiOS is not capable of multitasking, that is why it is "so smooth" ...

Android updates wigdets, checks mails, runs apps in background, etc, iOS runs only what is on the display...

ios on the other hand is pretty smooth, even though they are not on fast processors (4s) like other phones.. handles apps well..

Thats because u dont know the real meaning of smooth

Yes android is smooth enough on ANY QUAD CORE processor and 1gb+ ram BUT the smoothness is NOT CONSISTENT even on CUSTOM ROM.

So watching movies with action are nice and smooth
at 60Hz, and future 1080p 60frames per second video recording and play back,
Matching the The Hobbit's HFR of 60hz.
Google is future proving us for the new standard.

Google never claimed it fixed lag as there wasn't any.
Have to show me a link where google said project butter was used to fix lag.

lag was a lie started by WP users
