It is the best phone in the market today.Its like maruti 800,think what i am comparing and you will know what it is.Excellent with long battery life,useful torch(we are in India...10 hours powercut),call management features,excellent speakerphone.what else do you want??????basic sturdy model.Good show nokia..

people are leaving silly comments on a such a basic phone & their expectations from such a phone are ridiculous to the core.
this model is one of the best models i have come across in the basic phone catagory.

is ugly, OK! but bad...i don't think so!
i have it and is very useful(i have the 1100 2)
i don't understand what do you people want from 50€ phone, maybe 5mp camera, 8x optical zoom and autofocus??? Or vibrator (i think)

You said it right. There are lot of flaws in every manufacturer’s mobile phones. They should infact appreciate the opinions of the users and take that as a constructive criticism and improve upon their forth coming models.

this model sold in middle east doesn't have any problems that the people from other regions are talking about.
phone has excellent speaker and microphone quality and moreover it's just a basic phone and should not be compared to high end models. only glitch that i found on this model is that the keypad lights are green, hence the number/letter on the key pad are not boldy visible in the dark thus making it difficult to text message. engineers at Nokia should seriously look into this flaw. low end models from other manufacturers have really taken care of this feature.
however i rate this model 9/10.

The phone is very bad inside - software consists bugs, the flash light resets itself, the battery life in standby is up to 4 days!!! Also the keyboard digits dismiss after 3-4 weeks operation. I have 1100 which battery work in standby up to 7 days. Step back for NOKIA...

hi from the philippines here. this phone is very much usable and it has an mp3 ringtone capability. very much simple. for those who cannot afford to buy higher model try this first.

when i put on the fixed dialling option and again put it off, my phone hang. is this a problem of the software or hardware? i am from bangladesh.

Works fine for just calling. SMS Sending is buggy, Phone restarts and hangs when sending messages to multiple receiptents. Battery life good. For me gives 3.5 hrs total talktime, 300 messages, and the battery lasted for 2 days. Over all a good model and value for money but need to iron out the bugs.

When i get in my Hand..................
Its just a Phone but when im trying to Use it ... its cool
but i found some problems.....
i was three times reseted the factory settings for those problems....
its not showing the name for ISD callers...
and its not showing.. the time correctly when we set the option about auto update time....
but the features are cools have to improve some.... if it has moon light...
it wil grow as N series
