hello everyone!
uhm can i ask again something? it's not about those "restarting" problems anymore coz I rarely experience it now. Well, my concern for now is that, when I switch on my phone, it always asks for the push to talk to be either turn on ar turn off. .A question like this flashes on my scree immediately after switching it on, "Switch push to talk on?". .i find it disturbing for me and i want to make i 'gone' because, i am not using this PTT service of my phone and I always have to pree "no" everytime. .anyone to help me out with this prob?

@Ahmed,
i actually do not understand what you mean but here is what i understand:
go to settings, select connectivity, select packet data connection and select when needed. the g or e symbol will disappear on the screen and will only appear if you connect to the internet.
hit back if i answered your question right.

mY pLeasuRE!
thanks.
what a phone. i m using it for last three months.excellent working .
@RBa
by the way i am a full time linux ubuntu user in our home but i am not a linux expert. hehehe.
@RBa
for microsoft windows users, you need the pc suite because this also includes the drivers of the phone.
for linux users specifically ubuntu, mine is 7.04. i haven't upgraded yet to 7.10. there is no pc suite for linux users and running the software through wine was not a success. good thing is that the phone through its usb connection is automatically detected as phone or modem or storage (if you have memory card), you'll just have to have correct settings in the dial-up. it works like magic and flawlessly in linux ubuntu 7.04.
hi.
i am buying this phone tomorrow. I beileve it's the phone i need.
i will come back with an opinion about it in a short time.
By the way: what song is playing in the "video" on this site about the phone.
Clarity of the picture is not up to the mark,other features are fine.
@frappo
Ur Welcome man!.
I suggest u shld download new music player. When u downloaded new music file n update the music library, it WILL NOT n NEVER make ur phone restarting again.
I'm using the KD player that i downloaded from mobiles24.com (free member reg.). Choose 128x160 version. Till now, my phone is "happy" with the new music player. Make ur phone "happy" 2!
Good luck human!
i have been using this phone for the last six months.. Nice phone. Value for money.. But it has a serious restarting problem. i have changed three memory cards.. 1gb, 512mb to 256b mb. Now it is a bit stable.. this phone has serious problem with memory cards greater than 256mb capacity. though i didnt use nokia original memory card yet, but i used branded micro sd cards like kingston, transcend and toshiba. the problem persists with all of these brands.
RBa:
yes it needs the nokia pc suite, otherwise the computer won't be able to recognize your phone..
@ fireball:
By the way, when you use your phone as a modem, does it still need the Nokia PC Suite everytime you connect it to your PC?.
To KingEry:
Thanks for your suggestion on how to stop the restarting problem. You know what, it worked! I'm not sure if it will restart again soon but for now, the phone hasn't restarted yet! :) I think it is indeed the music player that causes the phone to crash and restart!!
To anyone reading this:
KingEry is RIGHT!!!! A few days ago, my brothers 3110 classic restarted over and over again.. So he removed the memory card to stop the restarting.. He gave the phone to me so that I can reformat the memory card AGAIN so that the restarting problem would stop.. Then I remembered KingEry's suggestion.. So I tried it out before reformatting the memory card..
I plugged the memory card back in and turned on the phone.. Just as the phone turned on, I opened the Music Player and updated the music library! It updated the library up to 100%.. Guess what happened?? The phone stopped restarting!!!!!!!!! Hehe.. :) Sweetness!!!! LoL..
So here's our suggestion, UPDATE your music library every now and then.. It doesn't matter if you added a new song or not! Just update it.. It won't take much of your time right? We'll see if it does help solve the restarting problem.. My brother updates his library every now and then.. It's been 3 days and the phone hasn't restarted yet!! :)
Good luck ya'll!
@ OLive pagLa:

Hi.. Actually, pixels refers to "individual dots per color". The real measurement of screen size is the one described in "inches" and not in pixels.
