Thing is with a cellphone, you only foward stuff. Only recently for the past couple of years have people started to use a phone for data storage. And people are still not used to it. Why use a thumbdrive when you have a phone that you bring with you everywhere? And theres the radio.
You will almost NEVER create anything on a cellphone (except recordings. which and are SAVED, then SENT). You can transfer files, keep files, but very seldom will you create anything. Who spends too much time typing on a phone? Ony short text messages that people actually shorten the words so they fit in one message.
If you want to create something good to use on a phone, wouldn't you use a computer? A good video that takes time to create, use a camcorder. N90s are good for that, but any REAL editing, use a computer. Same thing with music. Any REAL editing, use a PC. PC documents, SAVE and transfer from one your computer to your phone. Any real data transfer? Email it with your computer or save it on a disk.
Want the phone to be better, find one with Speech Recognition (but no one uses that on a PC yet MS Office, so why go directly to the phone???)
Too many keys. I thought this was a phone. Are you going to type a letter with the keyboard?
Seems like a very good phone! The camera is really not needed when targeting the Blackberry crowd. The only thing that is disappointing is that the UMTS frequency is 2100mhz and not Cingular's 1900mhz. I hope Nokia makes one for Cingular.
Aw, man... I guess they will never make one phone complete. If not the lack of edge, its the camera, or it doesn't support 850 Mhz band...
Its awesome..But no CAMERA?Why?Why?
camera is not every thing its very useful and in the futer i hope it will succesfull..
No camera no talk.
Phone has good functions BUT no camera.
That means the value-for-money factor will be low.
Why not camera? Its a necessary function nowadays.. but its ok this fone!!! =)
"just this" phone is allmoust the future's telephone... keep it real!...
I use a Treo650. And yes, I love it... except for one thing... it's darn THICK!!! The E61's dimensions are more like it! There's one problem... no camera!!! I know, stick with a real camera if you want to take pictures... but what about for situations that you don't have a camera with you except your phone? One of my hobby is photography and I love my digital SLR... but you can't beat a camera on a phone. I would have bought this the day it would come out... IF it had a camera. Some say it's a biz phone and it doesn't need a camera... so what do you call the Treo? And a lot of business people need cameras too to take snap shots of products... spying... etc!!!! Nokia... what's wrong with you people???
hi nokia u just lost a customer..pls put a camera of some sort on the fone wen next u modify it ....bliss....
Hi,
I think the nokia e61 is a great phone. First of all it has a temendous amount of features and looks very stylish. It almost is as thin as the razr phone and it is very easy to use. a nokia. who the **** needs a camera. get urself a digitalcamera whcih will make decent pictures. Great! Can't wait to hold it in my hands. Have a communicator and a vertu now. and im happy to give these to away for this phone. propably im also getting the 8800...
uhmmmnn.. looks like a HP Pockt PC to me, or maybe a blackbery.. Nokia needs to think of something else for their designs before they get sued by these companies for copyrights or paten.. i think nokia should just stick with their communicator and just make it better.. improvise!!
Thers no chance
seems like blackberry hand offices..can we install other OS on this phone?
E61 is way better than moto Q. It has WLAN and the last version of symbian vs the smartphone edition of windows mobile on moto. Read the various reviews and you'll get it... :)
i think its cool but then i guess its to big and i has no camera on it...
i like diz fone it looks cool
Which one is better? Moto Q, from Motorola or Nokia E61?
