when u recieve a call the sound begins very low and after 2 seconds the sound becomes as it should be.I bought it yestarday and today i turned it back.Samsung should learn a lot of things before selling mobile phones or just sell only tv's

Disappointed! I bought a Samsung B2700 a month ago - and now it keeps shuting off, rebooting, freezing - major softwear issues. I returned it a week ago to get it repaired, still waiting to get it back. hopefully it will work better then...
Not recommended!!!

i bought this phone a month a go in Australia, when ever i talk after 2 min the phone locks it self then i have take the battery out to reset, I took it back they gave me a new one with same problem. do any one know what's the problem.

Hello,

I wonder when Samsung will issued their next model from this unbreakable phones. I mean if their put on the market the next model with GPS it will be just great - specially if you are going somewhere in the mountains.
Here in Bulgaria the prize is around 160-170 Euro.

Great phone !!!! but software could be better :-P

By the way , call me stupid if you like, can anyone tell if we can configure the two quick entry keys? (not the pad) On mine I have the contacts on the left and WAP wich I don´t use on right .when you accidentaly hit the button there goes some pennies , pretty irritating .

First of all:
As i mentioned before this is the best outdoor handy on the market, for those people which need a phone for diving don't buy it, its splashresistant, not waterproof ;)
I will give the phone (in answer to the 4 mark Posting)
in each a clear 1.
To answer the question about the message tone, you can change by entering the profile selection and then press options, select edit in the menu and go the the tab for the messages, here you can change the tone.

I just wanted to know how to change the incoming message tone, i can't work out how to do, i have looked everywhere, can anyone help?

I can not confirm that the sound is bad or metallic, Sound is much better than on the 5140i.
Synchronizing with Outlook is absolutly not a problem, the Samsung PC Studio 3 (which is include in the package) has its own synchronizing Funktion for Dataexchange with Outlook, Furthermore you also can export or Import from a csv (comma seperated Values) File or a .wab (Windows Address Book, vCard (vcf) or vCalendar vcs. Its more a modern successor to the old Nokia 6510 than to the 5140, the 5140 was not really ruggedized. Compared with a lot of other Cell Phones the B2700 has a ligtspeed reacting Userinteface.
Only thing i missing is a dezibel meter, temperature meter and a menu Point for Systeminformation such as Firmeware Version or Akku Voltage.
For me this is the long waited for Replacement for my 5140 wich hs getting a bit long in the tooth.

I have bought this phone 3 days ago and it is really great but I have one problem - incoming call sound is metal, like something is wrong. Am I only one or there is someone with that problem to?
Go to shop to fix it or..?
