The d600 has a much better battery life than the d900 yes a very nice looking phone but if you need to use it all day its not what a phone looks like its how it preforms thats important.

The D600 is not bad. It could've been better though. I've had one for 9 months now. Had a slight problem with the slide but got it fixed. The battery has not been the most impressive. The phone also reboots during heavy gprs data transfers. I'll have to replace it sooner than I expected - at least much sooner than my R210 lasted. And for some reason, I'm yet to be impressed by the new samsung models.

Hi everyone!
can you tell me what you think of this phone compare to the Nokia 6131? It seems to have a better camera, can read word/pdf, but the keyboard seems i bit too small for my big fingers. That is also why i would prefer a clamshell - like the 6131. Do you think the D600 is clearly better? Or is it just 52-48?
DO you think a d600 can last long? I bought my last phone 3 years ago and if i buy a phone it is in order to keep it for a long time!

OPINION...........................
listen guys, in my opinion, the d600 is a great fone, afew disappointments s for me is...
text messaging....(just use to nokias way) many functions take long, for eg, sending a txt to a num in the p/book.. it seems, you have to go through many steps, just for something basic, get annoying at times..
d6 is a great fone, perfect size for me. so over all i give it, 7/10

Well, the materials used by Samsung are really robustness. I speaking about the models after 2005, becous I don't know for the others. My girlfriend has e720 from 1 year and half, and it is almost like new. Believe me the materials, keypad, and construction are far durable than SonyEricsson for example (plastic joysticks collecting dust?!!huh). Speaking of Nokia, thay are also making quality constructed phones, but at the last 1-2 years Samsung makes real hard efforts to take the market in case of longlife (not only quality) products.
That's way, comparing SE phones and Samsung phones, I decide to go for Samsung D600 insdead SE K750 or SEW810 for example. I have seen a lot of broken, scratched and malfuctioning SE devieces after only a few months of use...
