acquired a D880 a little over a year ago and my experience with it has been most dissapointing. I bought mine here in Lusaka, Zambia. At first I was excited about the prospect of using two sims with one phone but that excitement was shartered soon after. I have lost track of how many times I've had to take it for repairs. I would never take a chance agaion with sumsang in as far dual sim phone's is concerend. I eagerly await a similar innovation from Nokia, perhaps they'll do a better job.

It solved my reboot problem. NOTE: all your custom settings like theme, alarm etc. will be lost

I have used D880 for 9 months, much better than chinese dual sim phones. It does well with internet as a modem. Both sim cards work well on both sending and receiving texts and voice calls.Samsung must improve on the speed of the phone bit slow, you need to press a send button several times in order to send text.you need to reboot in order to fully use the other sim card.Switching to memort card and use the songs there is abit tricky.Otherwise i like it, good phone good battery life for three days heavy use.

to all the samsung dual sim card hand phone user, kindly check your second card sound, is it lower than the 1 sim card, if yes, go back to samsung centre ask for repair or replace with other phone, not worth to spent the money and get a useless phone.

Did anyone contact Samsung for the restart problem OR is there any new firmwire update to over come this problem. I really liked the issue in swaping between lines with when you switch lines before pressing dial... this was really good

When making call before you press green button you can switch to other SIM just by pressing the small side button. This button switches from SIM1 to SIM2 and vice versa

The dual sim module obviates the need for having two phones the same time. Quite convenient. I like the sound, camera and video. I also find the memo and document viewer sacrosant. The D880 is a phone I'm most satisfied with.

You are very proactive to said that all the phone manufacturer will adopt this Dual SIM technology at 2006
Now nearly all the phone manufacturer is built the dual card module in their mobile, look at some chinese cell phone site:http://www.espow.com/wholesale...-phones.html
You can discover that most of the mobile phone is the dual card dual standby phone

Hi, I am using D880 since last one year, but from the beginning the camera quality is very bad. I mean it has some background like yellow or blue etc but not the real daylight pictures. Can someone suggest that it is a common problem or its only with my set.
Thanks.
