This is the most stylish Samsung phone they have ever made in my opinion. My question is how much will it cost in Europe? I understand this is going to be a slider. This is better coz in the beggining I thought it was a touchscreen.

all the info in Gsmarena is correct, i.e its not a touchscreen phone, its actually a slider. But i must admit, i was hoping for wifi n 16M colors, oh well i guess i have to stick with the u700 for now.

GSMArena should update the spec sheet as there are lots of mistakes like the screen. i think it should be Touchscreen since Samsung is not crazy by not putting a keypad if there is no touchscreen.

Samsung are truly good and great-looking phones, but this stupid software restrictions like generated SMS sounds, hard java installation and many others, are very uncomfortable and that's why I will not buy Samsung phone in a short future!

At last a beautiful Samsung! All the models look alike, but this one is different, and looks great! And nice metalic look, instead all those black phones where you notice every scratch/dust/etc.
Anyone knows any specs about the battery and/or the release date?

Silver is horrible. Looks tacky, cheap, too 'blingy' and scuffs up way to easy. They should have kept it black or grey.

any info on the release date?? was wondering if you could buy larger capacity battery for the phone? everything is great about it, just samsungs lack decent battery life. dont understand why other companies can get good battery lify and samsung cant be bothered about it!
