Quit lying to yourself, even car manufactorers do that Aston Martin one of the prestigous car makers in Britain buys its materials such as leather, and airbags from Volvo, and share the same designer with Jaguar. Audi gets its Quattro tech from Lamborghini and share engines with VW its a common thing!! With cell manufacturers its the same, Samsung are getting Symbian S60 from NOKIA since NOKIA own Symbian S60 now. Samsung had to buy Bluetooth from Ericsson IT HAPPENS! Like i said thats the industry, i care about whats inside my phone, what i realy care about though is how that works not where its from.

if you dont care what is inside of mobile phone or etc. just buy any products without known what is inside they have.! that is really stupid choice.
Do you actually belive, that comapny making products without having exclusive technology and just get licencing parts and put all togher and make all in one.? we are on 2008 now.! not like 10yrs ago.! to success on the market. even sigle mobile phone company need to have many exclusive technology to competing with others. but Nokia Dont.! you guys need to accept it. Samsung can phone like N95 however their concept is slim factor which is totally different with Nokia's Fat - Factor with lots of technology.! if the phone getting bigger any companies can put many feature on the phone. the only hard thing is what samsung doing now. which they want make slim phone as possible with lots of feature. !

At the end of the day NOKIA do their best to give their customers a lot of tech and function at once,and they do a great job of it, they buy ALREADY MADE AND GREAT products from companies like Samsung and Motorola and they fit those things well into their phones. The DSP DAC in N81 aint from Samsung, Samsung supply Apple with the DSP chips and supply HTC with CPU's so what? Thats the industry for you.

i bet the DSC audio chip that N81 has is from Samsung! i bet it is...Nokia could not make that themselves..all Nokia make is the Keypad!

Do you guys actually know about Samsung Company.? Everyone knows Nokia is Mobile phone company. however samsung is different with that.! Samsung making lots of others as well. and over 50% of their products they have No.1 Technology in the world. such as Micro chip (D-RAM) and LCD also they do supply Mobile phone CPU to HTC and etc. company. Do you guys know ? that over 30% of Apple Iphone's inside parts are from Samsung.! Moreover, why would samsung copy FAT.-! Bulky Design from Nokia.? Samsung's Design Concept being Slim Factor and it is differnt with Nokia Design Concept.! and for the future 4G(WiBro) technology was Developed from Samsung and all the mobile phone in the future need to use samsung 4G(WiBro) chip. from all of these Samsung being totally Different company as Nokia who just making out side of phone.(inside of phone parts are fully supplied by third party)!

The i450 also has a navi-wheel, which is even more awkward,i suggest you read the review.
By the way im not trying to make sound like they are the best,but the fact is as the i450 and N81 are similarly priced, the N81 is the better choice when it comes to function since Nokia are a lot more fimilar with Symbian S60 than Samsung, during the review i noticed somethings missing in the UI in the screenshots, and some hardware like WiFi which is a technology thats growing and being implementd on a lot of devices and living areas and a Music based Smartphone like this in most peoples opinions should have WiFi support.
But yes at the end it all depends on taste,but people may find the N81 the better choice cause of specs and Samsung may lose out.

Yes i know, but some people might not like the Navi Wheel and Heavy Weight of N81, this is why Samsung made this i450

Keep in mind N81 has WiFi, a better navi-wheel, proper music keys,and also a few UI tweaks that i450 doesnt, since both are based on Symbian S60.

This has better video recording i450 352by288 and 15fps n81 320by240 at 15fps and i450 also has 3d speakers its also cheaper

that navi wheel feels awkward epsecially when youre not really lefthanded. i prefer they just use a dpad scroll similar to n81

WOW! Very interesting Samsung,and its a direct competitor to the N81. Sorry but N81 IS better, has WiFi, 3D speakers, Navi-wheel, better video recording,better screen, etc. . . Would love to see which will sell more.
