Hey, those who say the battery of sgs sucks, I thought I also had the same problem. Solution is easy. Go to "settings - wireless & network - use packet data" and disable the feature. Enable it only when you want to use the internet. Battery does last really long. Before this I was beginning to doubt the integrity of my dealer.
I could purchase the SGS-I9000 only in mid-2010 in India though others around the world had been using it for months. Now SGS-2 (I9100) has been announced and mark my word, India will be one of the last to get it. Unfair, considering we pay much more than the Americans (SGS-1 costs $ 500 = Rs. 25000/- in the US but I paid Rs. 29000/- for it).

Specification say it is 512MB but task mgr shows only 300MB plus. I have cross checke with SAMSUNG on this they say it is only 256MB. All the spec on samsung say it is 512MB. I request all the user to please share their feedback. I have came to know from may people samsung specifictaion are varying from Spec this is not new to samsung devices. IS this true.
Hello.....
Need expert opinion/suggestion:
Though the specification says the call log is 'Unlimited' but actually Call log remains only for 10-12 days... only message received information is available for the previous time (time beyond 10-12 days).
Can anyone help me to retrieve call log for further time??
one of the main reason I switched from Symbian is Symbian only allows call log for 30 days...... what a irony??
Even I couldn't find the settings for call log.
does this phone have flash support?
Terrible
Im on to my second one and still all the same problems.
Slow, freezes, screen comes on during calls, battery life rotten
