i am after losing the cd which came with phone to, so as to download tunes and play over the mp3 on phone, does anyone know where i might get this help??cheers

love this phone. Onnly complaint is that u cant set personalised message tones. BUT A TIPP!...to set ur mp3 as a ringtone...convert it 2 AAC. U can do that on i tunes then send it 2 ur fone. that will work!

you can convert the song into .3gp format and then you can set it as a ringtone.but the size shuould be within 100kb-150kb

im having a problem with my s500i... i put a 1 gb microSD and it froze my phone... when i reset my phone... the only thing i see was the main screen where is says samsung s500i... and then it resets it self and goes like that continuously... what should i do?

hi iv recently been having probs with my bluetooth. when people send me images its in my downloaded images but i cant see the image theyve sent and when i click to open it theres just a question mark. is this something i can change in my settings or is it because they have better cameras so my phone cant open the image. any help would be great. rob_hudson85@hotmail.com

Hi there,

Does anyone know how to minimise the music player whilst its in use?

I was playing around with my phonhe the other day, listening to some mp3s and I wanted to type a txt. Somehow, I managed to minimise the player with the song still playing and I typed the message.

I cant for th life of me figure out how I did it now, everytime I try, the music player cuts off. Can anyone help me...PLEASE!!???

very satisfied with my samsung s500i. lots of nice features. but underused coz i bought this in the uk and now am back to asia and i still have no idea how to use the imode & imail. i have to inquire from my service provider if they have this service. but overall, it is a nice phone, chic, stylish, and it's like no other, at least where i am coz it is not sold in the local market!!!

Just to answer the question- how to silence your fone. Press and hold the # key then do the same to put the sound back on. Hope this helps.

HI I'm thinking about buying this phone and was wondering whats good about it...and what are the downsides? Please email me in reply but I dont want your opinion if your just against samsung because that isn't going to help. So please tell me what are the best and worst points to this phone?

Hi All. I have just bought the Samsung S500i.
Since I have purchased the handset, I have not been able to receive or send mms. I am definitely provisioned correctly on the network.
Now I must admit, I am a little remedial when it comes to new technology!, and have always used Nokia's in the past, so if anyone can take the time to help me with very basic instructions on how to send, receive and view mms on my phone, I really would very much appreciate it. Cheers, Jim.
